Murder Mystery (film)
''Murder Mystery'' is a 2019 American comedy mystery film directed by Kyle Newacheck and written by James Vanderbilt and is loosely based on Agatha Christie's book Death on the Nile. The film stars Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, and Luke Evans, and follows a married couple who are caught up in a murder investigation on a billionaire's yacht. It was released on June 14, 2019, by Netflix. It received mixed reviews from critics. A sequel, which will be loosely based on Christie's Murder on the Orient Express, is scheduled to be released by Netflix on February 10, 2023. Plot Nick Spitz is a New York police officer, and his wife Audrey is a hairdresser. Audrey wants to visit Europe, as Nick had promised at their wedding, but thinks they never will. Kyle Newacheck
Kyle Newacheck (born January 23, 1984) is an American television writer, director, producer and actor. He is one of the creators of the Comedy Central show ''Workaholics'', in which he also co-starred. He is a producer and director on the FX comedy horror series ''What We Do in the Shadows''. Life and career Originally from Concord, California, Newacheck graduated from The Los Angeles Film School in 2004 with a degree in editing. He worked as an editing teacher at his alma mater before forming the sketch-comedy group, Mail Order Comedy with Blake Anderson, Adam DeVine and Anders Holm in 2006.
