The Municipality of Rečica ob Savinji (; sl, Občina Rečica ob Savinji) is a municipality in the traditional region of Lower Styria, Styria in northeastern Slovenia. The seat of the municipality is the town of Rečica ob Savinji. Rečica ob Savinji became a municipality in 2006. Poljane, Rečica Ob Savinji
Poljane () is a dispersed settlement in the hills northwest of Rečica ob Savinji in Slovenia. The area belongs to the traditional Lower Styria, Styria region and is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region. Rudenek Castle, also known locally as Lekše Castle ( sl, Lekšetov grad), was a 14th-century castle in the eastern part of the settlement. It was expanded in the Renaissance but abandoned and destroyed in the 18th century. The Municipality of Nazarje (; sl, Občina Nazarje) is a municipality in Slovenia. It lies along the Dreta River. The seat of the municipality is the town of Nazarje. The area belongs to the traditional region of Styria and it is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region. Šentjanž ( or ) is a village on the left bank of the Savinja, Savinja River in the Municipality of Rečica ob Savinji in Slovenia. The area belongs to the traditional Lower Styria, Styria region and is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region. Name The name of the settlement was changed from ''Šent Janž'' (literally, 'Saint John') to ''Šentjanž'' in 1955. Church The local church is dedicated to John the Baptist and belongs to the Parish of Rečica ob Savinji. It has a rectangular nave with two chapels, a sanctuary, and a northern bell tower, belfry.
