Municipalities Of Oaxaca
Oaxaca is a state in Southwest Mexico that is divided into 570 municipalities, more than any other state. According to Article 113 of the state's constitution, the municipalities are grouped into 30 judicial and tax districts to facilitate the distribution of the state's revenues, although they may not currently function as per their intended purpose. It's the only entity in Mexico with this particular organization. According to the 2020 Mexican Census, it is the tenth most populated state with inhabitants and the 5th largest by land area spanning . Sierra Mixe
The Sierra Mixe or Mixes District is a district in the east of the Sierra Norte Region of the Mexican state of Oaxaca. It comprises 17 municipalities and covers 4,930 km2 at an average elevation of 1,200 meters above sea level. As of 2005 the district had a total population of 96,920. The main food crops are maize and beans, while permanent crops include coffee, lemon and oranges. Most of the inhabitants are of indigenous Mixe ethnicity, and the Mixe languages are spoken throughout the region. Ánimas Trujano, Oaxaca
Animas Trujano is a town and municipality in Oaxaca in south-western Mexico. The municipality covers an area of 6.7 km², and it is part of the Centro District in the Valles Centrales region. Its climate is warm most of the time, and the municipal area has a diversity of both animal and plant species. As of 2005, the municipality had a total population of 3189, the majority of them being Catholic. Approximately 69 people speak an indigenous language, according to the 2005 INEGI census. Abejones ( Spanish: meaning "beetles", from ''abejón'') is a town and municipality in Oaxaca in south-western Mexico. The municipality covers an area of 122.48 km2. It is part of the Ixtlán District in the Sierra Norte de Oaxaca region.
