Demographics According to the 2002 census of the National Statistics Institute, Paredones spans an area of and has 6,695 inhabitants (3,562 men and 3,133 women). Of these, 2,195 (32.8%) lived in urban areas and 4,500 (67.2%) in rural areas. The population grew by 1.1% (73 persons) between the 1992 and 2002 censuses. Lolol
Lolol ( Mapudungun: "land of crabs and holes"; ) is a Chilean commune and town in Colchagua Province, O'Higgins Region. History During the 17th century, several Haciendas were created throughout the Colchagua Valley; they were great lands which the King of Spain granted to his conquistadores. Santa Cruz, Chile
Santa Cruz is a Chilean city and commune, located in the Colchagua valley, in the O'Higgins Region, located on the southern shore of the Tinguiririca river, 110 miles from Santiago, Chile's capital city, and 27 miles from San Fernando.
