The Municipal Services Office (MSO) ( ms, Pejabat Perkhidmatan Perbandaran; ; ta, நகராட்சி சேவைகள் அலுவலகத்தின்) is a coordinating office under the Ministry of National Development of the Government of Singapore that works with key government agencies to improve feedback management and customer service for such municipal services. Aims The Municipal Services Office (MSO) was set up on 1 October 2014 to improve the Government's overall coordination and delivery of municipal services. Ms Ann Sim, Senior Minister of State for the Ministry of Communications and Information, oversees the MSO. The MSO is part of the Government's on-going efforts to improve the delivery of municipal services by various public agencies in Singapore. The Government of Singapore is defined by the Constitution of Singapore to mean the executive branch of the state, which is made up of the president and the Cabinet. Although the president acts in their personal discretion in the exercise of certain functions as a check on the Cabinet and the Parliament, their role is largely ceremonial. National Parks Board
The National Parks Board (NParks) is a statutory board under the Ministry of National Development of the Government of Singapore. History In November 1989, Minister of National Development, S. Dhanabalan, presented the National Parks Bill in Parliament to form a body to manage the three parks, Singapore Botanic Gardens, Fort Canning Park and Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, in Singapore. In March 1990, Minister of State for National Development, Lee Boon Yang introduced the National Parks Bill in Parliament to form the National Parks Board as a statutory board. On 6 June 1990, the National Parks Board was formed to manage the three parks. On 1 July 1996, the Parks and Recreation Department was merged with the National Parks Board. Grace Fu
Grace Fu Hai Yien ( zh, s=傅海燕, p=Fù Hǎiyàn; born 1964) is a Singaporean politician who has been serving as Minister for Sustainability and the Environment since 2020. A member of the governing People's Action Party (PAP), she has been the Member of Parliament (MP) representing Yuhua SMC since 2011. Before entering politics, Fu was an accountant and had worked at Overseas Union Bank, Haw Par Group and PSA Corporation. Public Utilities Board
The Public Utilities Board (PUB) is a statutory board under the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment of the Government of Singapore responsible for ensuring a sustainable and efficient water supply in Singapore. Sim Ann ( zh, s=沈颖, p=Shěn Yíng; born 1975) is a Singaporean politician and former civil servant who has been serving as Senior Minister of State for National Development since 2020 and Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs since 2021.
