Estadio Edgardo Baltodano Briceño is a multi-use stadium in Liberia, Costa Rica, Liberia, Costa Rica. Africa Safari Adventure Park
The Africa Safari Adventure Park (previously África mía Safari) is a private wildlife park of approximately 100 hectares, located in El Salto, south of the city of Liberia, Costa Rica. All animals have an African safari motif with enclosures for animals such as zebras, warthogs and giraffes, all of which multiply in the safari. The park also provides zip lines, nature trails through rain forest with a prominent waterfall and a lagoon for kayaking. The vast alluvial plain of the Guanacaste Province and swampy wetlands provide the Safari with an atmosphere that resembles that of certain plains of Africa. Between 30–40 animals are born every year in the reserve. The animal park is the first in Central America with a giraffe born in captivity. The team captain of an association football team, sometimes known as the skipper, is a team member chosen to be the on-pitch leader of the team; they are often one of the older or more experienced members of the squad, or a player that can heavily influence a game or has good leadership qualities. The LINAFA Second B, also known as the Costa Rican Third Division, is a Costa Rican football league below the Costa Rican Second Division and above the LINAFA 3rd Division in the Costa Rican football pyramid. Deportivo Saprissa is a Costa Rican sports club, mostly known for its football team. The club is based in San Juan de Tibás, San José, and play their home games at the Estadio Ricardo Saprissa Aymá. The team's signature colours are purple (burgundy) and white. It is the main team representing the capital, but with the distinction of being massively followed throughout the whole country and overseas. The club was founded in 1935 and has competed in the Costa Rican first division since 1949. The name of the team comes from one of the club's main founders, Ricardo Saprissa. Liberia () is a district and the largest city in the Guanacaste Province of Costa Rica, located northwest of the national capital, San José, in the canton with the same name, of which it is the head city or capital. Asociación Deportiva Ramonense is a Costa Rican football team playing at the top level. It was based in San Ramón, Alajuela. Their home stadium was Estadio Guillermo Vargas Roldán. History A.D. Ramonense Founded on 5 April 1953, Domingo Borja became their first president. He was succeeded by Guillermo Vargas Roldán who oversaw the club's rise to ultimately the top tier of Costa Rican football. They remained there for 20 years until their relegation in 1988, clinched promotion again in 1992 and were in the Segunda División de Costa Rica again from 1999 to 2003 and from 2006 to 2008. The Primera División of Costa Rica, commonly known as Fútbol de Primera División (FPD), and Liga Promerica for sponsorship reasons, is the top professional association football division in Costa Rica. It is administered by the Unión de Clubes de Fútbol de la Primera División (UNAFUT). The league consists of 12 teams, with the last-placed team relegated to the Liga de Ascenso.
