''Mums' Bad Punk Music'' is a single released by Sucioperro on 17 November 2008 through Maybe Records. Overview The release of the band's second album, Pain Agency, was thwarted by several delays which prompted the release of "Mums' Bad Punk Music". The single contains a set of the band's heavier songs and, at the time, it gave some indication of what to expect from the forthcoming second album. Around the time of the release the band embarked on a small tour, including dates in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow and London. The title track received airplay from BBC Radio One DJ, Vic Galloway. Chris Sheldon
Chris Sheldon (born 25 September 1962) is an English record producer, particularly of rock music based in London, England. He has produced or mixed records for the Foo Fighters, Garbage, Big Country, Feeder, Therapy?, Biffy Clyro, Oceansize, Pixies and Shed 7. He lives in London, is married and has two daughters. Career Sheldon was born in Pakistan when his parents were posted abroad for work and grew up in Surrey. He took his first steps in the music industry when he was a drummer in several local punk bands. In the mid-1980s he worked as engineer in productions of artists such as Dead or Alive, Prefab Sprout, Elkie Brooks and Roger Waters. One of his first own productions was The Mission's 1990 album ''Carved In Sand''. Therapy?'s EP "Shortsharpshock" reached number 9 in the UK Singles Chart on 20 March 1993. ''Pain Agency'' is the second album by Scottish rock band Sucioperro, released on 4 May 2009 by Maybe Records. Overview Pain Agency was recorded in the band's studio in Ayr between June and October 2007. A video entitled 'The Making of Pain Agency' was created and posted on the band'YouTube page'Dragon's Pain Agency' a diary of events between the 10 June – 12 July written by the lead singer, was made available online from 16 July 2007 and includes information about recording developments, song titles, eating habits and progress through the computer game ' Black'. The artwork for the Pain Agency era was designed by bassist Stewart Chown anGordon Burniston The style was carried across tthe official Sucioperro website which was also designed by Chown, until the site was updated for the release of the band's third album, The Heart String & How To Pull It.
