MumboJumbo, LLC was an independent developer of games for personal computers, game consoles and mobile devices. MumboJumbo Mobile, LLC publishes entertainment software for Android and iOS devices. History The company was founded in January 2001 by Mark Dochtermann and Ron Dimant after leaving Ritual Entertainment. In 2003 it became one of the first independent developers to popularize casual games by partnering with portal sites to make games available for download directly to Windows and Mac computers. MumboJumbo was previously a United Developers Company that acquired other development companies including Zono, Ritual Entertainment, and Hot Lava Studios. ''Luxor 2'' is an action-oriented casual puzzle game developed by MumboJumbo. First released in 2006, it is the sequel to the original ''Luxor'', which was released in 2005. The title can be played online at several different sites, and can be purchased for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and Xbox Live Arcade. ''Luxor Evolved'' is a tile-matching video game released in 2012 by MumboJumbo. Gameplay The objective of ''Luxor Evolved'' is similar to that of other marble-popping matching games such as PopCap Games' '' Zuma''. Typical of the ''Luxor'' series, each stage includes a series of scarabs pushing a line of marbles along a path toward an open pyramid. The player is tasked with rescuing the marbles, using a marble-launching "winged scarab" that moves across the bottom of the screen, by matching a chain of three or more of the same color, or by using various power-ups, which are dispensed randomly when the marbles are rescued. ''Luxor 5th Passage'' (known as Luxor 5) is the "sequel" to Luxor, Luxor 2, Luxor 3, and Luxor: Quest for the Afterlife. It was developed by Absolutist and published by MumboJumbo in the 5th anniversary of the creation of Luxor, the original series. Gameplay Adventure Create matches of three or more spheres. Every third match in a row grants you a powerup. Catch the powerup and it will activate. A number of matches is needed to finish the level. The color are red, green, yellow, blue, purple, white and black, these colors are the same as for Luxor. The level 14-6 is added, because it breaks the record at 84 levels, which adds 14 bonus levels, with the 85% of the completion of every stage, it will upgrade into Double Shooter along with Pharaoh's Daggers.
