Mumbai Indians In 2020
The 2020 season was the 13th season for the Indian Premier League franchise Mumbai Indians. They were one of the eight teams competing in the 2020 Indian Premier League. Mumbai Indians were the defending champions. The team is currently being captained by Rohit Sharma with Mahela Jayawardene as team coach. They won their fifth ever title by beating Delhi Capitals on 10 November 2020. Background Player retention and transfers In July 2019, Mumbai added all-rounder  Sherfane Rutherford to their squad, after trading Mayank Markande to Delhi Capitals. They also traded in New Zealand left-arm pacer Trent Boult from Delhi Capitals and right-arm pacer Dhawal Kulkarni from Rajasthan Royals, while trading away batsman Siddhesh Lad to the Kolkata Knight Riders. 2020 Indian Premier League
The 2020 Indian Premier League, also known as IPL 13 and branded as Dream11 Indian Premier League 2020, was the thirteenth season of the IPL, a professional Twenty20 cricket (T20) league established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2008. The tournament was originally scheduled to commence on 29 March 2020, but was suspended until 15 April due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on 14 April that the lockdown in India would last until at least 3 May 2020, the BCCI suspended the tournament indefinitely. Rajasthan Royals (often abbreviated as RR) are a franchise cricket team based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, that plays in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Quinton de Kock (born 17 December 1992) is a South African cricketer and former captain of the Proteas in all three formats. Anukul Sudhakar Roy (born 30 November 1998) is an Indian cricketer who plays for Jharkhand and Kolkata Knight Riders. Aditya Prakash Tare (born 7 November 1987) is an Indian cricketer. He is a wicketkeeper batsman who played for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League and for Uttarakhand in domestic cricket. Jayant Yadav (born 22 January 1990) is an Indian cricketer from Delhi who plays for Haryana in domestic cricket. He is an all-rounder who bats right-handed, and bowls right-arm off-break.
