Anthony Mulvey
Anthony Mulvey (188211 January 1957) was an Irish nationalist politician. Born in County Leitrim, Mulvey edited the '' Ulster Herald'' newspaper before his election to represent Fermanagh and Tyrone for the Nationalist Party in the British House of Commons at the 1935 general election. Lorcan Mulvey is a Gaelic footballer. He has played club football for Butlersbridge and also played for the Cavan county team at all levels. He played for the Cavan senior team for eight years until 2010. Since moving to London he has transferred to Fulham Irish and played for the London county team. On 26 May 2013, he scored the vital goal that gave London a 1-12 - 0-14 victory over Sligo - their first victory in the competition since 1977. Suzanne Mulvey (née Malone; born 4 October 1984) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a forward and represented Scotland at the senior international level. Club career Mulvey started her playing career with Hibernian after moving up from their youth teams. In the 2005 summer season, Mulvey played in Iceland with ÍBV and scored three goals in ten Úrvalsdeild appearances. Her spell with Hibernian showcased her as one of the most promising young players in Scotland at the time and brought her to the attention of everyone in the game, however, Mulvey brought her time with Hibernian to an end when she moved to play for Hamilton. Stewart Mulvey (May 1834 – 26 May 1908) was a Canadian teacher, newspaper editor, militia officer, office holder and politician. Born in Sligo, Ireland, the son of Henry Mulvey and Barbara McGee, Mulvey was a teacher starting at the age of 16 in Irish National School system and the schools of the Church Educational Society. In 1856, he emigrated to Canada East at the invitation of Egerton Ryerson, the superintendent of education for Canada East, settling in Haldimand County where he was a teacher and editor of the local newspaper. He also served as a lieutenant in the 37th (Haldimand) Battalion of Rifles. In 1870, he joined the Red River expeditionary force and left for Winnipeg. From 1871 to 1873, Mulvey was editor of the Winnipeg newspaper, the ''Manitoba Liberal''. From 1873 to 1882, he was a collector with the Department of Inland Revenue. Robert Joseph Mulvey (24 November 1868 – 24 April 1937) was a trade union secretary and member of the Queensland Legislative Council. Mulvey was born at Brisbane, Queensland, to William Mulvey and his wife Margaret Holmes (née McKechnie) and was educated in Brisbane. He secretary of the Moulders' Union from 1897 to 1908, secretary of the Eight-Hour Day Committee from 1906 to 1923, and secretary of the Queensland Trades and Labor Council from 1923 to 1935. Political career When the Labour Party starting forming governments in Queensland, it found much of its legislation being blocked by a hostile Council, where members had been appointed for life by successive conservative governments. Peter Mulvey (born September 6, 1969) is an American folk singer-songwriter based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Since the early 1990s, he has developed a strong national following in the indie folk/rock scene through his relentless touring and critically acclaimed albums. Starting his musical career in Milwaukee while at Marquette University, he honed his performing skills while traveling in Dublin, Ireland. Paul Mulvey
Joseph Paul Mulvey (born September 27, 1958) is a Canadian retired ice hockey player. He played in the National Hockey League with the Washington Capitals, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Los Angeles Kings between 1978 and 1982. Mulvey was born in Sudbury, Ontario and raised in Merritt, British Columbia. Playing career A hard-nosed left-winger, Mulvey played junior hockey with the Edmonton Oil Kings and the Portland Winter Hawks. He was selected in the 1978 NHL Draft by the Washington Capitals and played for parts of three seasons with the Capitals. Prior to the 1981–82 NHL season, he was sent to the Pittsburgh Penguins as compensation for the Capitals signing of Orest Kindrachuk. He would later be claimed on waivers by the Los Angeles Kings during the middle of the season. Nick Mulvey (born 4 November 1984) is an English musician, singer and songwriter. He played the hang as a founding member of the band Portico Quartet. In 2011 started his career as a singer-songwriter releasing the EPs ''The Trellis'' (2012) and ''Fever to the Form'' (2013) and his studio album ''First Mind'' in 2014 which received a Mercury Music Prize nomination. Mike Mulvey (born in Manchester) is an Australian-English football manager, who is currently the Technical Director of South West Queensland Thunder. He had previously been in charge of clubs in Australia, Thailand and Malaysia.
