Multilingual Multiscript Plant Name Database (MMPND) is a multilingual database of names of taxa of plants. The MMPND is located at the University of Melbourne, where it is managed and maintained by Michel H. Porcher. In biology, a taxon (back-formation from ''taxonomy''; : taxa) is a group of one or more populations of an organism or organisms seen by taxonomists to form a unit.
