Mullapudi Venkata Ramana
Mullapudi Venkata Ramana (28 June 1931 – 24 February 2011) was an Indian writer known for his work in Telugu language, Telugu language. Noted for his humorous and metaphorical style of writing, Mullapudi received Raghupathi Venkaiah Award from the Government of Andhra Pradesh in 1986 for his contributions to Telugu cinema and he also won six Nandi Awards. Mullapudi is noted for his association with Bapu (director), Bapu, who both worked together as Bapu–Ramana. The director–writer duo went onto make many successful films such as ''Bangaru Pichika'' (1968), Andala Ramudu (1973 film), ''Andala Ramudu'' (1973), Sampoorna Ramayanam (1971 film), ''Sampoorna Ramayanam'' (1973), ''Mutyala Muggu'' (1975), ''Pelli Pustakam (1991 film), Pelli Pustakam'' (1993), ''Mister Pellam'' (1995), and ''Radha Gopalam'' (2005). Mullapudi Harishchandra Prasad
Mullapudi Harischandra Prasad, (28 July 1921 – 3 September 2011) was an Indian politician and industrialist from Andhra Pradesh. He was the chairman and managing director of the Andhra Sugars Group and also the managing director of Andhra Petrochemicals and the President of the Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI). He started Andhra Sugars in 1947 – one of the first industries set up in Independent India and hence called "Andhra Birla". He established the first aspirin factory in India and created a rocket fuel unit that supplied to Indian Space Research Organisation. He was originally from the town of Tanuku in Andhra Pradesh, born to Mullapudi Thimmaraju and Venkataramanamma, from a Kamma Zamindar family. Prasad was elected twice as a member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly representing the Indian National Congress. Kamma is a Hindu caste from South India. The community of Kammas is believed to have originated from agriculturists of the ''Kammanadu'' region of the Guntur and Prakasam districts in Andhra Pradesh. Telugu People
Telugu people ( te, తెలుగువారు, Teluguvāru), or Telugus, or Telugu vaaru, are the largest of the four major Dravidian ethnolinguistic groups in terms of population. Telugus are native to the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and the Yanam district of Puducherry.
