Mulholland Books (UK) is an imprint of Hodder & Stoughton, a British publishing house, now a division of Hachette UK. It specialises in the suspense fiction genre including crime novels, thrillers, police procedurals, spy stories and supernatural suspense History Mulholland Books at Hodder & Stoughton is the sister of the Mulholland Books, Mulholland Books (US) imprint at Little, Brown and Company, Little, Brown US. Both imprints launched spring 2011. The imprint is named after Mulholland Drive – a winding stretch of road that follows the ridgeline of the Hollywood Hills. David Keith Lynch (born January 20, 1946) is an American filmmaker, visual artist and actor. A recipient of an Academy Honorary Award in 2019, Lynch has received three Academy Award nominations for Best Director, and the César Award for Best Foreign Film twice, as well as the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival and a Golden Lion award for lifetime achievement at the Venice Film Festival.
