Mukthi
''Mukthi'' is a 1988 Indian Malayalam film, directed by I. V. Sasi and produced by Raju Mathew. The film stars Mammootty, Shobhana, Urvashi and Thilakan in the lead roles. Plot Coming from a struggling background, former tutorial college teacher Haridasan takes charge as Calicut District Collector with Hameed as ADM and Nambiar as SP. Ravunni Warrier is the helper at his residence. On a visit home, he visits the tutorial where he meets Pillai sir and his daughter Sudharma whom he hopes to marry soon. He visits his modest home and hands over gifts to amma, his younger brother Sudhi and sister Shobha. Thilakan
Palappurathu Kesavan Surendranatha Thilakan (15 July 1935 – 24 September 2012) was an Indian film and stage actor who appeared in over 200 Malayalam films. Thilakan was known for his elaborate method acting, realistic and spontaneous appearances. He is considered by many to be one of the greatest Indian actors of all time. Early life Thilakan was the second of the six children of Palapurath T. S. Keshavan (1904–1972) and Devayani (1912–2010). Thilakan was born in Plankamon, Ayroor Panchayat in the present-day Pathanamthitta district of Kerala. Shanthakumari Nambiar (born 22 May 1951), known by her stage name Seema, is an Indian actress. She has acted in 260 films in Malayalam, 25 in Tamil, 7 in Telugu, 6 in Kannada and one in Hindi. Rahman (actor)
Rashin Rahman (born 23 May 1967) is an Indian actor. He has worked in around 200 films, primarily in Malayalam cinema, in addition to Tamil, Hindi and Telugu cinema, and has won several awards. In Tamil and Telugu cinema, he is also known by the screen names Raghuman and Raghu. He made his acting debut in ''Koodevide'' (1983), for which he won his first Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actor, becoming the youngest recipient of the award at the age of 16. Raju Mathew
Raju Mathew ( – 12 November 2019) was an Indian film producer from Kerala. He produced 45 films. He was the owner of Century Films. Biography Mathew worked in an insurance company before coming to the film arena. Later he gave up the job and established Century Films in 1979. Then he began to produce films. He produced mainly Malayalam films. Besides Malayalam films he also produced a Hindi film titled ''Anokha Rishta''. ''Athiran'' was the last film which was produced by him. He was the president of the Kerala Film Chamber of Commerce. Mathew was married to Lily Mathew. Anjana Jacob and Ranjana Mathew are their daughters. Mathew died on 12 November 2019 at the age of 82. Jagannatha Varma
K. N. Jagannatha Varma (1 May 1939 – 20 December 2016) was an Indian actor who worked in Malayalam film and television industry. He was also a Kathakali artist. His son Manu Varma is also an artist and his son-in-law Viji Thampi is a film director. He acted in a number of Malayalam movies performing stereotypical roles of a senior police officer, judge or a priest.
