Plot Circumstances force Bimal, a righteous headmaster who is well known in his village, to contest the local elections. An envious MLA teams up with the chief minister to plot against him. Anjan Choudhury
Anjan Choudhury (25 November 1944 – 21 February 2007) was an Indian film director, writer, and screenplay writer who worked in the Bengali cinema of West Bengal. He was survived by his wife Jaysree Choudhury and two daughters, namely Chumki Chowdhury (elder) and Rina Choudhury, and son. His elder son in law is named Sajal. His son Sandip Choudhury is a T.V. serial and film director. His daughter in law Bidisha Choudhury is also a film actress. Gyanesh Mukherjee
Gyanesh Mukherjee (5 July 1926 – 8 May 2008) was a Bengali actor, director and theater personality. Career He was involved with Indian People's Theatre Association (IPTA). In his film career, Mukherjee worked with number of famous directors like Ritwik Ghatak, Mrinal Sen and Tapan Sinha. Since late 50s to 70s, he played prolific role in cinema as well as theater. In 1973 he directed the film ''Achena Atithi'' which was remade in Hindi as ''Anjane Mehmaan'' in 1975. He founded Mass theaters group in Kolkata. Mukherjee passed away in Kolkata on 8 may, 2008. Kumudlal Ganguly (13 October 1911 – 10 December 2001), better known by his stage name Ashok Kumar and also by Dadamoni, was an Indian actor who attained iconic status in Indian cinema and who was a member of the cinematic Ganguly family.
