Muhammad Taufiq (born 29 November 1986) is an Indonesian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Liga 1 club Persik Kediri. Tarakan, North Kalimantan
Tarakan is an island and the largest city of the Indonesian Provinces of Indonesia, province of North Kalimantan. The island city is located in northern Borneo, midway along the Celebes Sea, coast of the province. The city boundaries are co-extensive with the island (including a couple of small islands off the coast of the Tarakan Barat District). Once a major oil-producing region during the Dutch East Indies, colonial period, Tarakan had great strategic importance during the Pacific War and was among the first Empire of Japan, Japanese targets early in the conflict. It is the sole city within the newly established (in 2012) Indonesian province of North Kalimantan. Liga Primer Indonesia (LPI, sometimes translated to English as ''Indonesian Premier League'') was an Indonesian independent football league held in 2011. It was managed by Konsorsium Liga Premier Indonesia and PT Liga Primer Indonesia and was not recognized (initially) by the PSSI. The 2019 Liga 1, also known as Shopee Liga 1 for sponsorship reasons, was the third season of Liga 1 under its current name and the 10th season of the top-flight Indonesian professional league for association football clubs since its establishment in 2008. The 2015 Indonesia President's Cup ( id, Piala Presiden 2015) was the first edition of the Indonesia President's Cup. The tournament was held to restore the atmosphere of Indonesian football which was frozen by FIFA. The tournament was held from 30 August to 18 October 2015. The Piala Presiden (English: President's Cup) is an annual pre-season association football tournament held in Indonesia and organized by the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI). It is participated by Liga 1 clubs. The inaugural tournament was held in 2015 to fill the vacuum of the Indonesia Super League when Indonesia was suspended by FIFA for government interference. The 2014 Indonesia Super League was the sixth season of the Indonesia Super League (ISL), a fully professional football competition as the top tier of the football league pyramid in Indonesia.
