Muhaimin Suhaimi
Muhammad Muhaimin bin Suhaimi (born 20 February 1995) is a Singaporean professional footballer who last played as a full-back or midfielder for Singapore Premier League side Hougang United and the Singapore national team. Club career He was part of the National Football Academy (NFA) under-16 team that finished runners-up to CR Flamengo youth team in the 2011 Lion City Cup following a 4–3 penalty shootout loss in the final. He was a recipient of the TNP Schools Sports Star award in the same year. Muhaimin played for the NFA U18 team in the Prime League. In 2014, he was promoted to under-23 developmental side Young Lions playing in the S.League. He made his debut in the 78th minute of a 4–0 home loss to Balestier Khalsa on 23 February. His first goal came in a 3–2 home defeat to Warriors on 24 April. He ended the season with two goals in 11 league matches. Football At The 2010 Summer Youth Olympics – Boys' Tournament
Football at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics took place at the Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore. Medalists Participants Africa Zimbabwe represented Africa at the tournament. The U-15 team is made up of players from various schools in the country's ten provinces, with the squad spending six months training together in the build-up to the Singapore 2010. During the process they played five tune-up games against local youth sides, racking up 39 goals in the process at an average of nearly eight goals per game. The team went through five week-long camps over a three-month period, also playing friendlies against local club sides and school teams before arriving in Singapore. Lion City Sailors Football Club, commonly referred to as The Sailors or LCS, is a Singaporean professional football club competing in the Singapore Premier League, the top tier of the Singapore football league system. The Asian Football Confederation is the governing body of association football, beach soccer, and futsal in some countries/territories in Asia and Oceania. It has 47 member countries most of which are located in Asia. Australia, formerly in Oceania Football Confederation, OFC, joined AFC in 2006. Singapore League Cup
The Singapore League Cup was an annual soccer competition in Singapore. It was launched in 2007, and was open to teams who play in the S.League. The 2007 competition was sponsored by SingTel, and officially titled the SingTel League Cup. Eight of the twelve S.League teams took part in the 2007 tournament, which was held before the start of the S.League season proper. In 2008, the competition's official sponsored name was the Avaya-J&J League Cup (with sponsorship coming from Avaya and Jebsen & Jessen Communications). All twelve S.League teams took part in the 2008 tournament. Unlike the 2007 event, the 2008 competition was held during the S.League season. The 2009 edition of the League Cup was held from 1 to 19 June, again during the S.League season. The competition began with a group stage, where the clubs were divided into four groups of three. Singapore Cup
The Singapore Cup is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic Singaporean football. Established in 1998, it is the foremost football cup competition in the country. It is open to clubs in the Singapore Premier League. Since 2005, foreign teams from other countries in Southeast Asia are occasionally invited to compete in the Singapore Cup. Chonburi Province FC from Thailand was the first foreign club reaching the final in 2006 (they lost 3–2 in the final to local club Tampines Rovers). In 2009, Bangkok Glass became the second foreign team to reach the final, losing against local club Geylang United, but they beat Tampines Rovers in 2010 to become the first foreign winners of the Singapore Cup. Muhammad Muhelmy bin Suhaimi (born 22 January 1996) is a former Singaporean professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. Career He played for the Tampines Rovers Prime League squad before joining the Young Lions. On 13 March 2015, He was selected for 10-days training stint in France and was involved in two friendly matches for FC Metz, against RC Strasbourg on their second day there, and FC Sarrebourg, a day before they were scheduled to return home.
