Ian Mune
Ian Barry Mune (born 1941) is a New Zealand character actor, director, and screenwriter. His screen acting career spans four decades and more than 50 roles. His work as a film director includes hit comedy ''Came a Hot Friday'', an adaptation of classic New Zealand play ''The End of the Golden Weather'', and ''What Becomes of the Broken Hearted? (film), What Becomes of the Broken Hearted?'', the sequel to ''Once Were Warriors (film), Once Were Warriors''. Early life and family Mune was born in Auckland, and educated at Wesley College, Auckland, Wesley College in the same city. He was married to the writer Josie Mune until her death in 2015. Acting Mune acted on stage while training to be a teacher in Wellington. After time acting in the UK, he returned to his native New Zealand and won a Feltex award in 1975 after starring in one-off television drama ''Derek''. Louise Elizabeth Pajo (31 July 1940 – 23 November 2020) also credited as Louise R. Pajo, Louise Pago and Therese Pajo. was a New Zealand-born television and film actress, who worked in productions in her native country, but also in Britain and Australia, starting from 1965 until 1999. Biography Born in Hastings, New Zealand, Hastings, New Zealand of Estonian descent; she trained in RADA in the United Kingdom. Peter Gwynne (1929 – 17 November 2011) was a New Zealand-born Australian television actor who was also known for voice-over work. Career Born in New Zealand, Gwynne was a well-recognised character actor, appearing in many of the significant television productions of the 1970s onwards, including ''Cop Shop'', '' Boney'', ''Division 4'', '' Homicide'', ''Matlock Police'', '' Flying Doctors'', ''Return to Eden'', '' A Country Practice'' and many more. He is best remembered internationally as Bill McMaster, Stephanie Harper's General Manager at Harper Mining in both the 1983 mini-series and the 1986 series of ''Return to Eden''.
