Francis Lester "Scotty" Moylan (March 23, 1916 – August 24, 2010) was a Guamanian businessman and patriarch of the Moylan family, which includes his son, former Lieutenant Governor Kurt Moylan, his nephew, U.S. House delegate James Moylan, and his grandsons, former Lt. Governor Kaleo Moylan and Guam's first elected attorney general, Douglas Moylan. He was the founder of Moylan Enterprises and became one of Guam's leading businessmen after moving to the island in 1946. Pat Moylan is an Irish former hurler who played as a midfielder at senior level for the Cork county team. Moylan joined the team during the 1970 championship and was a regular member of the starting fifteen until his retirement after the 1981 championship. During that time he won three All-Ireland medals, three Munster medals, two National League medals and one All-Star award. At club level Moylan was a three-time All-Ireland medalist with Blackrock. In addition to this he has also won five Munster medals and five county club championship medals. Seán Moylan (19 November 1889 – 16 November 1957) was a senior officer of the Irish Republican Army and later a Fianna Fáil politician. Mary Ellen Moylan (August 24, 1925 – April 28, 2020) was an American ballet dancer. She was one of the first students of George Balanchine's School of American Ballet, and made her New York stage debut in 1942. She had danced with Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo, Ballet Society, Ballet Theatre (now American Ballet Theatre), Metropolitan Opera Ballet, and on Broadway. She was best known for performing Balanchine's works, and was described as "the first great Balanchine dancer". She retired from performing in 1957. Douglas Brian Keola Moylan (born October 19, 1966) is a Guamanian politician and attorney under the Law Office. James Camacho "Jim" Moylan (born July 18, 1962) is an American politician serving as the delegate to the U.S. House of Representatives for Guam. He became a member of the Guam Legislature in 2019 and was elected to the U.S House of Representatives in the 2022 United States midterm elections. Education Moylan graduated from John F. Kennedy High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice from the University of Guam. She was University Archivist and Head of Special Collections at Vanderbilt University for over 25 years, beginning in 1973.
