Movistar Arena (Buenos Aires)
Movistar Arena is a multiuse indoor arena with a seating capacity of 15,000. It is situated in Villa Crespo neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The arena was inaugurated in 2019 as a replacement of the DirecTV Arena which is located on the premises of the Atlético Atlanta club. The naming rights of the arena were acquired by Telefónica's cell phone division, Movistar, until 2057. Managed by the multinational company ASM Global, the arena is the most significant concert venue in Argentina and the second largest indoor arena in the country. History The property where the arena is located was originally owned by Club Atlético Atlanta until 1991 when the club had to sell it due to bankruptcy. The Quiero Volver Tour was the second headlining concert tour by Argentinian singer and songwriter Tini, in support of her second studio album, ''Quiero Volver'' (2018), and later to promote her third studio album ''Tini Tini Tini'' (2020). It began on December 13, 2018, at the Estadio Luna Park in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The tour was projected to end on September 18, 2020, in Buenos Aires at the Movistar Arena, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was interrupted earlier on March 9, 2020, in Utrecht, Netherlands. EcoBici (Buenos Aires)
EcoBici is a station-based bicycle-sharing system in Buenos Aires, Argentina which began operating in 2010. The service is free of charge to both residents of the city and tourists, and is available 24 hours a day. After one hour of use on weekdays, two hours during the weekend and on holidays, the bike has to be returned and the user has to wait fifteen minutes to get another one. The system is still being expanded and, as of 2019, has of lanes completed. Stations are automatic and require the use of a smartphone application or a smart card, not in joint with the Sube card system, acquired upon registering for the service. Usage according to the terms of use is controlled via a rating system which can lead to restricted to total exclusion from the system. The Buenos Aires Underground ( es, Subterráneo de Buenos Aires, links=no), locally known as Subte (), is a rapid transit system that serves the area of the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Line B (Buenos Aires Underground)
Line B of the Buenos Aires Underground runs from Leandro N. Alem to Juan Manuel de Rosas in Villa Urquiza. Line B opened to the public on 17 October 1930. In recent years, it has held the title of being the most used line of the Buenos Aires Underground, and its patronage has increased even more after the opening of a section of tunnel between Los Incas station in the neighbourhood of Parque Chas and a shopping centre in Villa Urquiza. It was the first line in Buenos Aires whose stations had turnstiles and moving stairways. Federico Lacroze railway station (Estación Federico Lacroze in Spanish) is a passenger railway station in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The station is located in the city's outlying ''barrio'' (neighbourhood) of Chacarita in a predominantly residential area. Urquiza Line
The Urquiza Line is a suburban electric commuter rail line in Buenos Aires, Argentina, operated by the Buenos Aires Underground operator Metrovías. It runs from the Federico Lacroze terminus in the neighborhood of Chacarita, to General Lemos terminus in Campo de Mayo district of Greater Buenos Aires, completing a total journey time of 46 minutes. The line uses third rail current collection and, at present, is used by an average of 75,400 passengers daily. The line operates 20 hours a day, 7 days a week at 8 to 30 minute intervals. This suburban line runs on track once operated by General Urquiza Railway before railway privatisation. Avenida Corrientes () is one of the principal thoroughfares of the Argentine capital of Buenos Aires. The street is intimately tied to the tango and the porteño sense of identity. Like the parallel avenues Santa Fe, Córdoba, and San Juan, it takes its name from one of the Provinces of Argentina.
