''Moving On'' is the second studio album by English boy band 911. Released in the United Kingdom through Virgin Records on 6 July 1998, it peaked at number 10 on the UK Albums Chart. 911 (English Group)
911 (pronounced "nine one one") are an English pop group consisting of Lee Brennan, Jimmy Constable and Simon "Spike" Dawbarn. They were formed in London in 1995 and released their debut single "Night to Remember" in May 1996. This was followed by their debut album ''The Journey'' in March 1997, which was certified Gold by the BPI in November 1997. 911 released two more Silver-certified albums, '' Moving On'' and '' There It Is'', in 1998 and 1999, respectively. ''There It Is'' also produced their only UK number-one single, a cover of "A Little Bit More", which topped the UK Singles Chart in January 1999. In their five years together, 911 scored ten UK top 10 singles. They sold 10 million singles and 6 million albums around the world, and were very popular in South East Asia, where their first two albums went to number one. They split in late 1999. Evan Rogers
Carl Sturken and Evan Rogers are New York–based songwriters and record producers. They have produced hits for Ruben Studdard, Wild Orchid, Christina Aguilera and Evelyn Champagne King and helped build the career of Rihanna. In addition to being principals of Rihanna's production company SRP Music Group, they have achieved more than twenty top 40 hits, twelve top 5 hits and six BMI Awards. The Scottish Albums Chart is a chart compiled by the Official Charts Company (OCC) which is based on how physical and digital sales towards the UK Albums Chart fare in Scotland. The official singles chart for Scotland, the Scottish Singles Chart, which was based on how physical and digital sales towards the UK Singles Chart were faring in Scotland, has not been published since 20 November 2020. Since 20 November 2020, only the Scottish Albums Chart has been published by the OCC, and it has been based on physical sales only, with the OCC only publishing the albums chart on their website since 11 December 2020. European Albums Chart
The European Top 100 Albums chart was the European adaptation of the ''Billboard'' 200 albums chart. It ran from March 1984 until December 2010. Also commonly referred to as Eurochart Top 100 Albums, the chart showcased the sales of an act in 19 European countries based on IFPI data. The European Top 100 combined album sales (both retail and digital) of new and older albums. The methodology was different from the US ''Billboard'' 200, where albums would only be allowed to chart if they weren't 18 months old. If an album older than 18 months had enough sales to enter the 200 chart after having already dropped out of the 100th position, it would chart on The ''U.S. Billboard'' Catalog Albums. Later ''Billboard'' reviewed the criteria and decided the older albums would also be allowed to chart in the 200, as it should show what's being sold. John McLaughlin (musician)
John McLaughlin (born 4 January 1942), frequently known as Mahavishnu John, is an English guitarist, bandleader, and composer. A pioneer of jazz fusion, his music combines elements of jazz with rock, world music, Indian classical music, Western classical music, flamenco, and blues. After contributing to several key British groups of the early 1960s, McLaughlin made ''Extrapolation'', his first album as a bandleader, in 1969. He then moved to the U.S., where he played with drummer Tony Williams's group Lifetime and then with Miles Davis on his electric jazz fusion albums ''In a Silent Way'', '' Bitches Brew'', '' Jack Johnson'', and ''On the Corner''. His 1970s electric band, the Mahavishnu Orchestra, performed a technically virtuosic and complex style of music that fused electric jazz and rock with Indian influences. Lee Anthony Brennan (born 27 September 1973) is an English singer, songwriter, dancer and actor. He is the lead vocalist of boy band 911. Biography Lee Brennan was born on 27 September 1973 in Carlisle, Cumberland, to Una and Francis Brennan. Lee, his two brothers Kevin & Marc & older sister Julie were brought up by Una & Step-Dad Stephen Mcalindon in Harraby & Currock, Carlisle. Lee also has a younger sister Rebecca from his Dad's second marriage. He was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma twice, first aged nine and then again aged 15, of which treatment left him infertile. Lee had previously wanted to play for his local football team Carlisle United. However, despite trials and visits from club scouts, he was turned down because, at just 5 ft 4in (163 cm), he was considered too small. Tracy Ackerman is a British singer and songwriter. She works with several other British songwriters including Andy Watkins and Paul Wilson of Absolute and Mark Taylor. Ackerman has written for artists including Geri Halliwell, Cher, Boyzone, Tina Turner and Will Young. Early life and education Ackerman attended Gordano School.
