Moussa Djitté
Moussa Kalilou Djitté (born 4 October 1999) is a Senegalese professional footballer who plays as a forward for the Major League Soccer club Austin FC. Professional career On 21 June 2018, Djitté transferred from the Senegalese club ASC Niarry Tally to FC Sion in Switzerland. He made his professional debut in a 2–1 Swiss Super League loss to FC Lugano on 22 July 2018. On 17 June 2019, signed with Grenoble Foot 38 in the French Ligue 2. On 30 June 2021, he signed with Austin FC of Major League Soccer under the league's U22 Initiative. On 14th September 2022, Djitte scored the first hat trick in Austin FC history in a 3-0 victory against Real Salt Lake. Austin FC clinched their first ever playoff berth in the win. The Morocco Olympic football team represents Morocco in international football competitions in Olympic Games. The selection is limited to players under the age of 23, except three overage players. Souleymane Cissé (born 30 July 1991) is a Senegalese professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. Club career Cissé began playing football with Pikine, and was a part of their senior squad from 2008 to 2014. In 2014, he moved to Sudan with Al-Hilal Club, and in 2017 to El Hilal El Obeid. After leaving Sudan due to civil unrest, he briefly returned to Pikine before signing with the reserves of Grenoble in late 2019. He joined the senior team in 2020. He made his professional debut with Grenoble in a 1–0 Ligue 2 loss to En Avant Guingamp on 26 September 2020. 23 August 2022, Cissé joined Saudi club Hajer. The 2022 Austin FC season was the club's second season in Major League Soccer, the top flight of soccer in the United States. Austin FC played in the Western Conference of Major League Soccer. Due to the 2022 FIFA World Cup, play began February 26, 2022, about a month earlier than normal, and concluded October 9, 2022. 2021 Austin FC Season
The 2021 Austin FC season was the club's inaugural season in Major League Soccer, the top flight of soccer in the United States. This was also the first season a top-tier sports franchise is playing in the Greater Austin region. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the season began on April 17, 2021, about a month and a half later than normal, and concluded on November 7, 2021. Outside of MLS, Austin FC would have competed in the 2021 U.S. Open Cup, but that competition was postponed indefinitely in April before being canceled in July. Austin FC won their first match in Commerce City, CO against the Colorado Rapids 3-1, where midfielder Diego Fagundez scored the club's first ever goal. They played their first game in Austin in front of 20,738 fans, a 0-0 draw against the San Jose Earthquakes.
