Mourad Meghni
Mourad Meghni ( ar, مراد مغني; born 16 April 1984) is a former professional Association football, footballer who played as an attacking midfielder or winger (association football), winger. He was known for his excellent technique. As a young footballer in France, his ability and Algerian heritage earned him the nickname "petit Zidane". Aged thirteen, Meghni joined the famous academy INF Clairefontaine. In 2000 he opted to move on to Bologna F.C. 1909, Bologna, for whom he made his professional debut on 20 July 2002, against FC BATE Borisov, FC BATE in the Intertoto Cup, coming on as a substitute. With Bologna, he came runner-up in the 2002 Intertoto Cup losing out to Fulham F.C., Fulham on aggregate 5–3. Umm Salal Sport Club ( ar, نادي أم صلال الرياضي) is a Qatari professional association football, football club based in Umm Salal, that competes in the Qatar Stars League, the highest tier of Football in Qatar, Qatari football. It used to be known as Al-Tadamun Sport Club. It is best known for being the first Qatari club to make it to the semi-finals of the AFC Champions League. History Umm Salal were formed in 1979 under the name ''Al-Tadamun Club'' and entered into the Qatargas League, Qatari Second Division along with five other clubs. After the dissolution of two other clubs in the second division, Al Tadamun was also dissolved. The club was reformed in 1996, with Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Thani heading the club. Ligue 1, officially known as Ligue 1 Uber Eats for sponsorship reasons, is a French professional league for men's association football clubs. It was expanded to contain 20 clubs, which played 38 matches against each other, rather than the 34 matches in previous seasons, while relegations were reduced to three. Association Sportive de Cannes Football (; commonly referred to as AS Cannes or simply Cannes) is a French association football club based in Cannes. Francisco Filho (footballer)
Joaquim Francisco Filho (born 27 October 1940), sometimes known simply as Francisco, is a Brazilian former professional footballer and coach. A midfielder, he spent 17 years as a footballer in Brazil, Venezuela, Portugal and France before going into coaching at the age of 33. After 29 years at Clairefontaine, the academy of the French Football Federation, Filho joined Manchester United as a youth coach in 2002. He retired in 2005, but returned to the game with the newly formed A.C. St. Louis in 2009. Career Born in São Paulo, Filho began his professional football career in 1957, at the age of 16. 2008–09 Coppa Italia
The 2008–09 Coppa Italia was the 62nd season of the tournament. The competition started on 9 August 2008 and ended on 13 May 2009. The radically different format used in the 2007–08 Coppa was abandoned, with the new format more closely resembling earlier editions of the tournament. The final was played between Lazio and Sampdoria. The match ended with Lazio winning 6–5 on penalties. The first 90 minutes ended in a 1–1 draw, and no goals were scored in extra time.
