Mount Kanmuri (Kanagawa)
Mount Kanmuri ( = ''Kanmuri-ga-Take'', meaning the "mountain with a Kanmuri (headwear), Kanmuri hat") is one of the peaks of Mount Hakone, in Hakone, Kanagawa, Japan, with an elevation of 1,409m meters. When the phreatic eruptions occurred on the northwestern slope of Mount Kami about 2,900 years ago, the underground magma created a lava dome, which is the current Mount Kanmuri. These eruptions caused the damming of the Haya River (Kanagawa), Haya River, creating the Sengokuhara and Lake Ashi. This mountain looks like the "Kanmuri (headwear), Kanmuri" headwear, which used to be worn by the noble men in ancient Japan. Ōwakudani
is a volcanic valley with active sulphur vents and hot springs in Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. It was created around 3,000 years ago, as a result of the explosion of the Hakone volcano. It is a popular tourist site for its scenic views, volcanic activity, and — a local specialty of eggs hard-boiled in the hot springs. is a station on the Hakone Ropeway in the town of Hakone, Kanagawa, Japan. Hakone Tozan Cable Car
The , officially the , is a funicular railway in the town of Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. It is operated by , who also operate the Hakone Tozan mountain railway line. Lake Ashi
, also referred to as Hakone Lake or Ashinoko Lake, is a scenic lake in the Hakone area of Kanagawa Prefecture in Honshū, Japan. It is a crater lake that lies along the southwest wall of the caldera of Mount Hakone, a complex volcano that last erupted in 1170 CE at Ōwakudani. The lake is known for its views of Mount Fuji, its numerous hot springs, historical sites, and ryokan. The lake is located on the Tōkaidō road, the main link between Kyoto and Tokyo.
