Mount Frissell, , which straddles the border of southwest Massachusetts and northwest Connecticut, is a prominent peak of the Taconic Range. Frissel's south slopes include the highest point in Connecticut. Frissell's summit and the majority of its slopes are within Massachusetts' Mount Washington State Forest and part the town of Mount Washington, Massachusetts. Brace Mountain is the peak of a ridge in the southern Taconic Mountains, near the tripoint of the U.S. states of New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts. Its main summit is located in New York; it is the highest point in that state's Dutchess County. The New York and Massachusetts portions of the mountain are within protected areas; Taconic State Park and Mount Washington State Forest respectively. Schenob Brook is a stream in Berkshire County, Massachusetts and Litchfield County, Connecticut, in the United States. Variant names are Kisnop Brook, Schenop Brook, and Skerrob Brook. Schenob Brook flows generally northward from Washinee Lake in Salisbury, CT, and merges with Hubbard Brook in Sheffield, MA which then flows into the Housatonic River a quarter mile downstream.
