Mounam Pesiyadhe
''Mounam Pesiyadhe'' () is a 2002 Indian Tamil language, Tamil-language romantic drama film, written and directed by Ameer (director), Ameer in his directorial debut. It stars Suriya (actor), Suriya and debutant Trisha (actress), Trisha in the lead along with newcomers Nandha (actor), Nandha, Neha Pendse and choreographer-turned-actor Anju Mahendra in supporting roles along with several other newcomers, while Laila (actress), Laila appears in a cameo role during the climax. The major part of the film is shot in Pondicherry. The film, released on 13 December 2002 and turned out to be a hit at the box office. It was remade in Telugu language, Telugu as ''Aadanthe Ado Type'' (2003) and later dubbed in the same language as ''Kaanchu'' (2006). Ameer (director)
Ameer Sultan (born 5 December 1967) is an Indian film director, producer and actor, working in the Tamil cinema, Tamil film industry. Early life and career Ameer Sultan was born in Madurai, Tamil Nadu India. He initially studied economics and worked as an entrepreneur before starting to work as an assistant director to Tamil filmmaker Bala (director), Bala on his award-winning film ''Sethu (film), Sethu'' in 1999 and ''Nandha'' in 2001. Nandaa Dorairaj is an Indian actor, producer who primarily works in Tamil films. He made his debut in ''Mounam Pesiyadhe'' (2002) and later appeared in other films such as ''Eeram'' (2009).
