Mouhamed Sene
Mouhamed Saer Sene (born May 12, 1986) is a Senegalese former professional basketball player. He has a 7 ft 8½ in (2.35 m) wingspan. Early life and career Born and raised in Thiès, Senegal, Sene originally went to a private school to become a mechanic, but his father pushed him toward basketball. In 2003, he joined the SEED Academy, a program designed to send Senegalese youths to the United States to play college basketball. Between 2004 and 2005, Sene attended two Reebok Eurocamps in Treviso, Italy, participated in the Berlin Adidas Camp, played exhibition games against NCAA teams with the Interhoop African All-Stars touring team, and played in Belgium for the Spirou Basket junior squad. The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five or the pivot, is one of the five Basketball position, positions in a regulation basketball game. The center is normally the tallest player on the team, and often has a great deal of strength and body mass as well. In the NBA, the center is typically close to tall. They traditionally play close to the basket in the low post. Centers are valued for their ability to protect their own goal from high-percentage close attempts on defense, while scoring and rebounding with high efficiency on offense. The Senegal national basketball team ( French: ''Équipe de basketball du Senegal'') represents Senegal in men's international basketball and it is overseen by Federation Senegalaise de basketball, five time a gold medallist (in 1968, 1972, 1978, 1980, and 1997), a six time silver medallist, and a four time bronze medallist at the FIBA Africa Championship. 2008–09 Oklahoma City Thunder Season
The Oklahoma City Thunder played its inaugural season in the 2008–09 NBA season. It was the team's 1st season in Oklahoma City since the Seattle SuperSonics relocation was approved by league owners prior to settling a lawsuit. The team played at the Ford Center. The 2006–07 Seattle SuperSonics season was the 40th season of the Seattle SuperSonics in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Liga ACB, known as Liga Endesa for sponsorship reasons, is the top professional basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system. Administrated by the Asociación de Clubs de Baloncesto (ACB), Liga ACB is contested by 18 teams, with the two lowest-placed teams relegated to the LEB Oro and replaced by the top team in that division plus the winner of the promotion playoffs. Yann Ulrich Stéphane Lasme (born December 17, 1982) is a Gabonese former professional basketball player. He played college basketball at the University of Massachusetts (UMass), with the UMass Minutemen, and he was selected by the Golden State Warriors in the second round, 46th overall, in the 2007 NBA draft. In 2016 Stephane won the EuroCup Championship and earned the Finals MVP award, as well as, an All-EuroLeague Second Team selection in 2014 and won the EuroLeague Best Defender award in 2013, among others. The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official List of developmental and minor sports leagues, minor league basketball organization.
