Motti Aroesti (born 11 July 1954), is a retired Israeli professional basketball player and coach. Biography Motti Aroesti was born in Givatayim. Basketball career Aroesti played club basketball with Maccabi Tel Aviv, from 1973 to 1988. Aroesti wore the Maccabi jersey for 15 consecutive seasons, and won an Israeli League title for each of those years, as well as 11 Israeli State Cups. Aroesti helped Maccabi win its first FIBA Europe Champions Cup ( EuroLeague) title in the 1976–77 season, and he was still the team's starting point guard, when his team lifted its second top continental trophy in the 1980–81 season. Mordecai "Moti" Daniel (מוטי דניאל; also "Motti"; born July 24, 1963) is an Israeli former basketball player. He played the forward position. He played in the Israeli Basketball Premier League, and for the Israeli national basketball team. Early and personal life Daniel is from Holon, Israel, and is Jewish. He is 6' 7" (199 cm) tall. He met his wife, Kerry Winter, when she was also a basketball player at George Washington University. They were married in 1988, and moved to Holon. Basketball career Daniel attended George Washington University ('87). He played for the George Washington Colonials in 1985-87. In 1985-86 he averaged 9.0 points and 5.0 rebounds per game as a freshman, and was named to the Atlantic 10 Conference All-Freshmen Team. Motti Kakoun
Motti Kakoun (born November 16, 1972, in Tel Aviv) is a retired Israeli footballer mostly known for his time with Hapoel Petah Tikva. Football career During his career, Kakoun played mainly for Hapoel Petah Tikva FC. He was appointed team captain at a young age, finishing the 1996–97 season as top league goalscorer, scoring 21 times to help his team finish second, to Beitar Jerusalem FC. After four more seasons of scoring in double digits for Petah Tikva, twice reaching the 20-goal mark, Kakoun moved abroad, joining Spanish side CP Mérida (second division); however, after only four months, he returned to his country and previous club. Motti Lerner (born September 16, 1949) is an Israeli playwright and screenwriter. Early life He was born in Zikhron Ya'akov, a village south of Haifa, in Israel. His great-grandparents immigrated to Palestine in 1882 from Romania and Russia, and became farmers. Education He was educated at the local and regional schools. Mordechai (Motti) Mizrachi ( he, מוטי מזרחי, born 1946) is an Israeli multimedia artist who creates politically engaged conceptual works that combine sculpture, video, photography, public art and performance.
