The Moto Guzzi Museum is a transport museum in Mandello del Lario, Italy. Mandello Del Lario
Mandello del Lario (Lecchese: ) is an Italian town and ''comune'' in the province of Lecco, in Lombardy, on Lake Como. Since 1921, Mandello del Lario has been home to Moto Guzzi—the Italian motorcycle manufacturer, now a subsidiary of Piaggio & Co. SpA. The town each year since 2001 has hosted GMG (a.k.a. Giornata Mondiale Guzzi or Worldwide Guzzi Days). The Grigna massif is located in Mandello's communal territory. The Moto Guzzi V8, or the Otto motorcycle was designed by Giulio Cesare Carcano specifically for the Moto Guzzi Grand Prix racing team for the 1955 to 1957 seasons. Bill Lomas (8 March 1928 – 14 August 2007) was an English Grand Prix motorcycle racing, Grand Prix motorcycle road racing, road racer. He was a two-time List of Grand Prix motorcycle racing World Champions by year, World Champion and a two-time Isle of Man TT winner. He won the 1955 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season, 1955 and 1956 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season, 1956 350cc world championship as a member of the Moto Guzzi factory racing team.
