Moti Yogev
Mordechai "Moti" Yogev (; 22 February 1956) is a former IDF colonel and Israeli politician who served as a member of the Knesset for the Jewish Home between 2013 and 2020. He was formerly the Secretary General of Bnei Akiva, Chairman of the Company for the Reconstruction and Development of the Jewish Quarter, and Deputy and Acting Head of the Mateh Binyamin Regional Council. Yogev served as chair of the Subcommittee for Judea and Samaria of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee. He was a ranking member of this committee and all of its subcommittees; the Education, Culture, and Sports Committee; the Special Committee for the Rights of the Child; and the Committee for Immigration, Absorption, and Diaspora. Haifa
Haifa ( he, חֵיפָה ' ; ar, حَيْفَا ') is the third-largest city in Israel—after Jerusalem and Tel Aviv—with a population of in . The city of Haifa forms part of the Haifa metropolitan area, the third-most populous metropolitan area in Israel. Nave Sha'anan, Haifa
Nave Sha'anan ( he, נָוֶה שַׁאֲנָן; ''lit.'' Tranquil Abode) is a neighborhood in eastern Haifa, Israel that extends from the lower inclines of Mount Carmel to midway across its slopes. History Nave Sha'anan was founded in 1922. The name is based on a verse in the Bible (Isaiah 33:20). The main campus of the Technion is located in Nave Sha'anan. In 2004, Nave Sha'anan had a population of 38,100, Haifa Municipal Council accounting for 14% of the city's total population. Israeli settlements, or Israeli colonies, are civilian communities inhabited by Israeli citizens, overwhelmingly of Jewish ethnicity, built on lands occupied by Israel in the 1967 Six-Day War. The international community considers Israeli settlements to be illegal under international law, though Israel disputes this. Dolev
Dolev ( he, דולב, דֹּלֶב) is an Israeli settlement organized as a community settlement in the West Bank. Located north-west of Jerusalem, it falls under the jurisdiction of Mateh Binyamin Regional Council. In it had a population of . Amona, Mateh Binyamin
Amona ( he, עמונה) was an Israeli outpost in the central West Bank. Located on a hill overlooking Ofra within the municipal boundaries of the Mateh Binyamin Regional Council, the village was founded in 1995 on privately owned Palestinian land. As of 2012, its population was around 200. As of October 2013, the outpost lodged 42 families. It was evacuated completely in February 2017 in compliance with a ruling by the Israeli Supreme Court. Gaza Division
The Israel Defense Forces Gaza Division (Territorial), is subordinate to the Southern Regional Command. Its area of operation is the Gaza Strip and the area surrounding it. The division's commander is Brigadier-General Eliezer Toledano. The Gaza Division had been entrusted with the safety and security of Jewish settlers in the Gaza Strip after the Six-Day War in times of peace and armed conflict. Amnon Lipkin-Shahak ( he, אמנון ליפקין-שחק; March 18, 1944 – December 19, 2012) was an Israeli military officer and politician. He served as Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, as a Member of the Knesset, and as Minister of Transportation and Minister of Tourism. Biography Lipkin-Shahak was the great-grandson of Yitzhak Lipkin, an early pioneer to Palestine and businessman who financed the construction of the Ohel Shlomo and Shaarei Yerushalayim courtyard neighborhoods on Jaffa Road in Jerusalem at the end of the 19th century.
