The Chiesa della Santissima Trinità dei Pellegrini (''Church of the Most Holy Trinity of the Pilgrims'') is a Roman Catholic church located on Via dei Pettinari #36 In the rione of Regola of central Rome, Italy. It stands a block away from the Palazzo Spada on Via Capo di Ferro, while a few blocks away on the Via dei Pettinari stands the Ponte Sisto. History Urged by Filippo Neri, by 1540 lay members of his order gathered at the church of San Girolamo della Carità. Neri soon had Pope Paul III recognise the group as the ''Confraternita della Santissima Trinita de' Pellegrini e de' Convalescenti'' (Fraternity of the Holy Trinity of Pilgrims and Convalescent). For the Jubilee of 1550, the group took on the burden of hosting pilgrims, with particular regard for those who came from distant lands. The Roman Catholic Church of the Most Holy Trinity in Tvrdošín, region Orava, Slovakia. Original wooden church was built in first half of 17th century. The church was burned down few times. Current walled Most Holy Trinity Church was begun to build on 24 May 1766. From the original wooden church, only a tower (from 1628), a middle choir, an oratory and a sanctuary remained. The church was sanctified on 2 June 1770 on Most Holy Trinity day. During the Second World War the church was targeted by mines. East part of roof was damaged, also the baroque altar. Innovation of left side baroque main altar was realized after 1945 by academic artist Ctibor Belan cooperate with benched master Jan Rakyta. Most Holy Trinity Church is a historic Roman Catholic church located within the Detroit neighborhood of Corktown. It is home to an active parish in the Archdiocese of Detroit. Construction of the church began in 1855, and finished in 1866. It is the second oldest Catholic Church in Detroit, and the first constructed to serve an English-speaking congregation. Standing at 170 feet tall, it was the tallest building in Michigan until the completion of the old Detroit City Hall in 1871. It mainly served an immigrant Irish-American population in its early years. It became a significant cultural center for the Irish, and later Mexican and Maltese, residents of Detroit. The Church of the Most Holy Trinity in Veseli, Minnesota (an unincorporated community in Wheatland Township, Minnesota) is a Catholic church designed by Clarence H. Johnston, Sr. Johnston designed a large number buildings for state institutions in Minnesota, such as the Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf, the University of Minnesota, the former Minnesota Historical Society building, and many others, but churches were not common in his architectural practice. Veseli was originally settled by Czech immigrants and was one of the four largest such communities in Minnesota. The members formerly worshiped at the parish in New Prague until they organized their own church in 1874. The first building was a wood frame structure built between 1874 and 1878. The present building was built in 1905 and follows an Italian Romanesque style, with some influences of Craftsman architecture as well. Most Holy Trinity Church, located on the Boston Post Road, is a historic Roman Catholic church in the Latin rite parish of Most Holy Trinity-Saint Vito in the Archdiocese of New York, in Mamaroneck. Parish history Most Holy Trinity Church began as St. Thomas Church, built in 1867. It was a mission of Blessed Sacrament Church in New Rochelle N.Y..The mission became a parish in 1874, then the present church was built by 1885 and renamed Most Holy Trinity. Most Holy Trinity was originally known as the church of St. Thomas when it stood at the corner of Spruce Street and Boston Post Road. The founder, Reverend Thomas McLaughlin, was a pastor in New Rochelle and visited the Mamaroneck area once a month by wagon to attend to any parochial details.
