Ivo Adam Rex Mosley (born 1951) is a British writer. His career has encompassed ceramics, poetry, social commentary, opera and musical theatre. His focus of the last few years is on works of non-fiction relating to politics and monetary reform. Early life, family and education Born in London in 1951, the son of writer Nicholas Mosley, and grandson of politician Oswald Mosley, Ivo Mosley went to Bryanston School before studying Japanese at New College, Oxford. In 2007 he also completed an MA in musical theatre at Goldsmiths College, London. In 1977 he married the artist Xanthe Oppenheimer. Ceramics Whilst studying, Mosley became fascinated by Japanese pottery and porcelain. On completing his degree in 1972, he purchased a kiln and started making pots. Based in London, this was his career until 1987, and he became known for his bold use of colour and the development of new glazing techniques. Charles Gordon Mosley FRSA (14 September 1948 – 5 November 2013) was a British genealogist who was among the foremost experts on British nobility. He was an author, broadcaster, editor, and publisher, best known for having been Editor-in-Chief of ''Burke's Peerage & Baronetage'' (106th edition)—its first update since 1970—and of the re-titled 107th edition, ''Burke's Peerage, Baronetage & Knightage'' (2003). Charles Philip "Bubs" Mosley (March 24, 1888 – August 25, 1968) was an American football, basketball, and baseball player and coach. He served as the head football coach at Baylor University from 1914 to 1919 and at Wichita Falls Junior College—now Midwestern State University—from 1924 to 1925, compiling a career college football record of 34–26–6. Mosley was also the head basketball coach at Baylor from 1914 to 1920, tallying a mark of 28–65, and the school's head baseball coach from 1914 to 1919, amassing a record of 47–60. Bryan Mosley
Bryan Mosley (25 August 1931 – 9 February 1999) was a British actor, best known for his role as grocer Alf Roberts in the long-running ITV soap opera ''Coronation Street''. Early life Mosley was born in Leeds, an only child, to Agnes Basquill, a print worker, and Jimmy Mosley, a labourer at a dye factory. He attended Leeds Central High School and made his stage debut, aged 10, as the back end of a cow in the pantomime Cinderella. He modelled for clothes catalogues and held a childhood ambition to become a missionary. Instead, aged 13, Mosley won a scholarship to Leeds College of Art, where he studied from 1944 to 1946, and subsequently worked as a commercial artist.
