Mashiur Rahaman Ranga (born 22 July 1958) is a Bangladeshi politician who is the incumbent Jatiya Sangsad member from Rangpur-1 constituency. He served as secretary general of Jatiya Party as well as state minister of the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development & Co-operatives. Career Ranga is a transportation businessman. Jahangir Kabir Nanak (born 14 January 1954) is a Bangladesh Awami League politician and the former State Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives. He was twice elected member of parliament for Dhaka-13. Currently he is a Presidium Member of Bangladesh Awami League . He was president of the Bangladesh Jubo League and general secretary of the Bangladesh Chhatra League. Early life Nanak was born on 14 January 1954. He has a bachelor's degree in Art and Law. Hossain Mokbul Shahriar ( bn, হোসেন মকবুল শাহরিয়ার) is a Jatiya Party (Ershad) politician and a Jatiya Sangsad member from the Rangpur-1 constituency. He is the nephew of Hussain Mohammad Ershad, a former President of Bangladesh. Early life and family Shahriar was born on 18 July 1974 to a Bengali Muslim family in Rangpur, Bangladesh. His father, Mozammel Hossain Lalu, has roots in Dinhata in present-day India. His paternal grandfather, Maqbul Hossain, was a lawyer and served as a minister of the erstwhile Maharaja of Cooch Behar. Sharfuddin Ahmed Jhantu (1952 – 25 February 2018) was a Bangladesh Awami League politician and a former Jatiya Sangsad member who represented Rangpur-1 constituency. The Jatiya Party ( bn, জাতীয় পার্টি, translit=Jatiyo Party, lit=National Party) is a conservative, nationalist political party in Bangladesh and is currently the main opposition in the Jatiya Sangsad, against the Awami League. The current chairman of the party is Ghulam Muhammad Quader. On 3 January 2019, the party announced its decision to join the Bangladesh Awami League-led Grand Alliance after having been in opposition for the previous parliamentary term. The Jatiya Sangsad ( bn, জাতীয় সংসদ, lit=National Parliament, translit=Jatiyô Sôngsôd), often referred to simply as the ''Sangsad'' or JS and also known as the House of the Nation, is the supreme legislative body of Bangladesh.
