Morten Ruud
Morten Ruud (born 25 February 1950) is a Norwegian civil servant. Ruud graduated as cand.jur. in 1974 from the University of Oslo, and took the Norwegian National Defence College in 1985. From 1976, he has spent most of his career in the Ministry of Justice and the Police, except for the years 1977 to 1978, when he was a deputy judge, and the years 1998 to 2001 when he was the Governor of Svalbard. In the Ministry of Justice, he was promoted to deputy under-secretary of state in 1990, special adviser on 1 January 1997, and then permanent under-secretary of state on 22 August 1997. He left as permanent under-secretary of state in 2012. While serving in Svalbard, Ruud and his Deputy Governor Rune Bård Hansen expelled three young men from Svalbard, invoking—for the first time in history—a 1976 provision, that allowed for expulsion of convicted felons if deemed liable to commit new criminal acts. Sven Ole Fagernæs
Sven Ole Fagernæs (born 12 March 1945) is a Norwegian jurist and civil servant who was Attorney General of Norway from 1993 to 2015. Sven Ole Fagernæs was born in Oslo and got a cand.jur. degree from the University of Oslo in 1972. He worked for the Norwegian Ministry of Justice and the Police from 1973 to 1976 and in that period also shortly worked as a junior judge at the Indre Sogn magistrate. In 1976 he started working for the Office of the Attorney General of Norway. He became assistant Attorney General of Norway in 1987. Tor Saglie (born 13 September 1949) is a Norwegian civil servant. He was educated at the University of Oslo, graduating in 1976 with a cand.polit. degree in political science. He was the director (head of administration) of the University of Oslo from 1991 to 2003 and permanent under-secretary of state (''departementsråd'') in the Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development from 2003 to 2006. Ann-Kristin Olsen
Ann-Kristin Olsen (born 29 March 1945) is a Norwegian jurist and civil servant. Known as the first female chief of police in Norway, and the first female Governor of Svalbard. She served as County Governor of Vest-Agder from 1998 until her retirement in 2015. Early life She was born in Stockholm shortly before the end of World War II; her mother chose to give birth here due to the wartime German occupation of Norway.
