Morten Børup
Morten Børup (1446–1526) was a Danish educator, cathedral cantor and Latin poet. Early life and education Born in Skanderborg, he first worked as a farm labourer, suffering considerable abuse. When he was 27 he fled to Aarhus, where he managed to enter the cathedral school. Supported by his teachers and by Archdean Morten Krabbe, he attended the newly founded Copenhagen University where he graduated in theology. Børup continuing his studies at the University of Cologne after that in 1487, receiving a doctorate. Career On returning to Denmark, he became principal of the Aarhus cathedral school around 1490, where he gained an excellent reputation. He remained school principal until 1520. Among his students, were the Lutheran reformers Jørgen Sadolin and Hans Tausen. Børup wrote a number of Latin plays for the benefit of his students and they are among the first publicly performed plays in Denmark (1501). Morten Bo
Morten Bo (born 10 May 1945, Copenhagen), is a Danish photographer who has specialized in documentary work with a social impact. His 15 travelling exhibitions in the 1970s and 1980s proved quite controversial. In the 1980s, he turned to more abstract photography with lines, contours and contrasts of light and shade. A member of Delta-Photos from 1967 to 1972, in 1973, he was a co-founder of the Ragnarok group. In line with his interest in promoting the art, he founded Fatamorgana, Denmark's school of art photography, in 1989. Early career Morten Bo started out in film rather than still photography at the National Film School of Denmark in 1966. He had previously studied architecture and had used photography as a tool to appreciate the concept of space. Morten Ågnes Konradsen (born 3 May 1996) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Norwegian Premier League side Bodø/Glimt. Career Konradsen is a younger brother of fellow footballer Anders Ågnes Konradsen. He made his senior debut for Bodø/Glimt in the first round of the 2012 Norwegian Football Cup, and scored a goal. A-ha (usually stylised as ''a-''h''a''; ) is a Norwegian synth-pop band formed in Oslo in 1982. Founded by Paul Waaktaar-Savoy (guitars and vocals), Magne Furuholmen (keyboards, guitars and vocals), and Morten Harket (lead vocals), the band rose to fame during the mid-1980s. Morten Harket () (born September 14, 1959) is a Norwegian vocalist and songwriter, who is the lead singer of the synthpop/rock band A-ha. A-ha has released 10 studio albums to date, and topped the charts internationally after their breakthrough hit "Take On Me" in 1985. Harket has also released six solo albums. Before joining a-ha in 1982, Harket had appeared on the Oslo club scene as the singer for blues outfit Souldier Blue. Walter Morten Grunwald (9 December 1934 – 14 November 2018) was a Danish actor, stage director and theatre manager. Early life and education He was born in Odense, Denmark, attended Odense Theatrical School in 1958, and graduated from the Royal Danish Theatre's Theatrical School in 1962. Beginning in 1971, he was the manager of several theatres in Copenhagen. Career Grunwald made his debut in ''En blandt mange'' ("One among many") in 1961. Morten Frost or Morten Frost Hansen (born 4 April 1958) is a former badminton player and later coach, who represented Denmark. As a player, he spent twelve years in the top three of the world rankings. Badminton career During his career, Frost won almost every available top level championship, except the World Badminton Championships where he scored a silver medal twice (1985 and 1987). When he lost his second World Championship in the finals, the headlines rang out "The World's greatest badminton player may never be World Champion."
