Morrow High School is the easternmost secondary school in Clayton County, Georgia, United States. Part of Clayton County Public Schools; it is located in Ellenwood at 4930 Steele Road. The school's teams are known as the Mustangs. Middle schools generally associated with Morrow High are Morrow Middle School, Adamson Middle School and Rex Mill Middle School. Clayton State University is the nearest post-secondary school, though some college-bound students enroll at the University of Georgia, Georgia Southern University, University of West Georgia, Georgia Gwinnett College and Georgia State University. Morrow is a city in Clayton County, Georgia, United States. It is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area. Its population was 6,445 at the 2010 census, up from 4,882 in 2000. It is the home of Clayton State University. History The community was named after Radford E. Morrow, the original owner of the town site. Morrow was founded in 1846 with the advent of the railroad into the area. It was incorporated as a city in 1943.
