Morning's At Seven (film)
''Morning's at Seven'' (German: ''Morgens um Sieben ist die Welt noch in Ordnung'') is a 1968 West German family comedy film directed by Kurt Hoffmann and starring Gerlinde Locker, Peter Arens and Werner Hinz.Bock & Bergfelder p.208 It was based on the 1965 novel ''Morning's at Seven'' by the British writer Eric Malpass. A sequel ''When Sweet Moonlight Is Sleeping in the Hills'' was released the following year with much of the same cast. It was shot at the Spandau Studios in Berlin and on location around Solingen in North Rhine-Westphalia and Großenbrode and Fehmarn on the Baltic in Schleswig-Holstein. The film's sets were designed by the art directors Isabella Schlichting and Werner Schlichting. Kurt Hoffmann
Kurt Hoffmann (12 November 1910 – 25 June 2001) was a German film director, the son of Carl Hoffmann. He directed 48 films between 1938 and 1971. He ran a production company Independent Film along with Heinz Angermeyer. His 1958 film ''Wir Wunderkinder'' was entered into the 1st Moscow International Film Festival and his 1960 film '' The Haunted Castle'' was entered into the 2nd Moscow International Film Festival where it won the Silver Prize. Agnes Windeck (; 27 March 1888 – 28 September 1975) was a German theatre and film actress. She appeared in more than 50 films between 1939 and 1973. She was born in Hamburg and started her career at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in 1904. She later worked as a teacher at the drama school of the Deutsches Theater in Berlin. The Baltic Sea is an arm of the Atlantic Ocean that is enclosed by Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Sweden and the North and Central European Plain. Fehmarn
Fehmarn (, da, Femern; from Old Wagrian Slavic "''Fe More''", meaning "''In the Sea''") is an island in the Baltic Sea, off the eastern coast of Germany's northernmost state of Schleswig-Holstein. Großenbrode
Großenbrode is a municipality in the district of Ostholstein, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is situated on the Baltic Sea coast, opposite Fehmarn, approx. 8 km (5 mi) east of Heiligenhafen. Until 1963 it had a ferry connection to Gedser in Denmark. After World War II there was no ferry connection from West Germany to Denmark - the ferry port Warnemünde (near Rostock) now being in the communist east. Großenbrode was chosen as the site for a temporary ferry connection for the 3 hour crossing to Gedser. After the Fehmarnsund bridge was built in 1963, the ferryport moved to Puttgarden on Fehmarn. Großenbrode is planned to be the site of a portal of the Fehmarn Sound Tunnel by 2028.
