Rafael Baledón
Rafael Baledón Cárdenas (25 November 1919 – 6 May 1994) was a Mexican actor, director, screenwriter, and producer of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. He worked in both film and television. Life Rafael Baledón was on 25 November 1919 in Campeche, Mexico. He initially wanted to be a doctor, but could not pursue the career due to economic reasons. His acting career began working as an extra until he received his major acting job for the 1942 film ''María Eugenia''. The following year, he married actress Lilia Michel and had five children: Rafael, Leonor, Ana Laura, Lourdes and Lilia. On 6 May 1994, he died of a heart attack. Antonio del Castillo y Saavedra (10 July 1616 – 2 February 1668) was a Spanish Baroque painter, sculptor, and poet. Biography Antonio del Castillo y Saavedra was born at Córdoba, Spain. He trained in painting under his father Agustín del Castillo, and after his death by a little-known religious painter named Ignacio Aedo Calderón from 1631 to 1634. Later he was taught in Seville by Francisco de Zurbarán and by his uncle Juan del Castillo, who was also teacher of Cano, Murillo and De Moya. Janet Alcoriza
Janet Alcoriza (born Janet Riesenfeld; January 4, 1918 – November 12, 1998), also known as Raquel Rojas, was an American screenwriter and actress of Austrian and Scotch-Irish descent who spent most of her career in Mexico. She contributed to more than 50 films from 1945 to 1987, and early in her career was associated with Luis Buñuel. Biography Her father, Vienna-born composer Hugo Riesenfeld, emigrated to the United States in 1907, where he met and married Mabel Dunning. The couple had Janet in 1918 in New York City. When she was a girl, she fell in love with acting when she observed performances at the theater her father operated. She took lessons from her father's dancing teacher, and she later spent time in Mexico and Spain, which aided her in becoming fluent in Spanish. She later wrote about her experiences in Spain (which was at war at the time) in an autobiographical book. Janet was married to Mexican screenwriter and director Luis Alcoriza.
