Morgan Burnett
Morgan Mark Burnett (born January 13, 1989) is a former American football strong safety. He played college football at Georgia Tech and was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He also played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns. High school career A native of College Park, Georgia, Burnett attended North Clayton High School, where he played for the North Clayton Eagles high school football team. He was named Class AAAA first-team all-state as a senior after earning honorable mention all-state recognition at quarterback as a sophomore. He made 135 tackles as a senior and six interceptions including three that he returned for touchdowns. Burnett was also a four-year letterman in track & field, where he was one of the states top performers in the triple jump. Strong Safety
Safety is a position in gridiron football on the defense. The safeties are defensive backs who line up ten to fifteen yards from the line of scrimmage. There are two variations of the position: the free safety and the strong safety. Their duties depend on the defensive scheme. The defensive responsibilities of the safety and cornerback usually involve pass coverage towards the middle and sidelines of the field. Quarterback Sack
In gridiron football, a sack occurs when the quarterback (or another offensive player acting as a passer) is tackled behind the line of scrimmage before throwing a forward pass, when the quarterback is tackled behind the line of scrimmage in the " pocket" and without clear intent, or when a passer runs out of bounds behind the line of scrimmage due to defensive pressure.
