Didier Moret
Didier Moret (born 25 April 1975) is a Swiss ski mountaineer. Moret was born in Riaz. He started ski mountaineering in 1996 and competed first in the Trophée de Plain Névé race on the Grand Muveran in the same year. He has been member of the national team since 2003 and enjoys also mountain biking and cross-country skiing. Moret studied microtechnology at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. Isabelle Moret (born Zuppiger, 30 December 1970) is a Swiss politician who served as List of presidents of the National Council of Switzerland, President of the National Council from 2019 to 2020. A member of FDP.The Liberals since its foundation in 2009, she first entered the National Council (Switzerland), National Council in 2006 as a member of the Free Democratic Party of Switzerland, Free Democratic Party (FDP/PRD). Léon Marie Louis Moret (4 July 1890 – 22 November 1972) was a French geologist and paleontologist. Initially trained in medicine he became a paleontologist and wrote several books on fossil plants and animals while also examining alpine geology. He supported the view that all rocks and soils were susceptible to flow over geological time. Moret was born in Annecy, Haute-Savoie where his father was a notary. He took an early interest in natural history, and went to study medicine at Lyon as several members of the family were doctors. He studied medicine and was enlisted into World War I in 1914. He received a Croix de Guerre and after being demobilized he received his doctorate in 1919 with a thesis titled ''Contribution à l’étude des exostoses ostéogéniques''. He was the prime minister of Spain on three occasions and the president of the Congress of Deputies on two occasions. Biography Moret was born in Cádiz on 2 June 1833. His mother's family, the Prendergasts, were of Irish descent. He studied at the ''Universidad Central'' in Madrid, where, in 1858, he became professor of political economy while he continued his studies in jurisprudence.
