German Molina Moreno (; October 4, 1933 – January 8, 2016), also known as Kuya Germs ( or ) and dubbed as "The Master Showman", was a Filipino television host, presenter, actor, comedian, talent manager, producer, writer, and director. Early life Moreno was born to Jose Moreno y Calvo (Pepe), a Spanish Filipino mestizo, and Aurora Molina, a Filipina. He had one sister, Pilar Moreno Nite. His father died after an incident involving an American soldier. Moreno first worked for an aunt's taxi company and also sold ''bibingka'', peanuts, and cigarettes. He also became a jeepney barker. Career Early career Moreno became involved in the entertainment industry working as a janitor and ''telonero'' (curtain raiser) of Clover Theater in 1957. Nicolás Moreno (artist)
Nicolás Moreno (28 December 1923 in Mexico City – 4 February 2012) was a Mexican landscape painter, considered to be one of the best of this genre of the 20th century, as well as heir to the Mexican tradition of José María Velasco and Dr. Atl. Although he was born in Mexico City in 1923, he had early contact with nature, traveling with his grandfather and living briefly in Celaya, Guanajuato. He studied art at the country’s Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas but was temporarily discouraged when he was told that landscape painting was a “minor genre.” His work almost completely focuses on the varied landscapes of Mexico, mostly to document it, including environmental degradation. His landscape work includes that which appeared in over 100 individual exhibitions in Mexico and abroad as well as a number of important murals including those at the Museo Nacional de Antropología. María José Moreno (born 30 March 1967) is a Spanish light lyric soprano. Biography Born in Castilléjar, Granada, María José Moreno studied at the Escuela Superior de Canto in Madrid. In 1996 she debuted in Pamplona with the character of Dido in the opera '' Dido and Aeneas'' by Henry Purcell with the group Vaghi Concerti, a production with which she would travel through several Spanish cities. In 1997 Moreno made her great breakthrough, winning the Francisco Viñas Award in January and making her debut at the Teatro de la Zarzuela with Donizetti's '' La fille du régiment''. Leticia Muñoz Moreno (born 1985 in Madrid) is a Spanish violinist. She began her music education at the early age of 3 in both violin and piano with the Suzuki Method offering her first recitals when she was just 5. In 1996 she studied six years with Zakhar Bron at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía and in Germany at Köln Musikhochschule. Later on she followed the advice of Maxim Vengerov in Saarbrücken and David Takeno at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where she received the highest grade ever in the history of the school for her final recital. Her last teacher was Rostropovich since 2003. Since 2005 Leticia Moreno has been playing a 1679 Pietro Guarneri violin, which is the property of the Stradivari Society of Chicago.
