''More than Alot'' is the debut studio album by English electronic music duo Chase & Status. The album was released on 13 October 2008, and peaked at number 49 on the UK Albums Chart. The album was re-released on 4 June 2010 with bonus tracks as the "New edition". Background The album debuted on the UK Albums Chart at number 49 on 19 October 2008, and entered the UK Dance Albums Chart at number two on the same week. The album was preceded by the release of the lead single, "Pieces (Chase & Status song), Pieces" featuring vocals from rapper Plan B (musician), Plan B, on 29 September. On 5 October, "Pieces" peaked at number 70 on the UK Singles Chart and at number one on the UK Dance Chart. Chase & Status are an English electronic music duo composed of Saul Milton (Chase) and Will Kennard (Status). In addition, Andy Gangadeen is the drummer when the band performs live. MC Rage formerly performed as MC with the group, but left in July 2021 to focus on solo ventures. The duo are from London, and formed in 2003 after meeting at university in Manchester. The duo have since released five studio albums and collaborated with major artists such as Plan B, CeeLo Green, Rihanna, Example, and Tinie Tempah. They run the independent record label MTA Records. Gavin Harris, better known as Xample, is a British drum and bass producer and DJ, who originates from Bristol, England. He has been releasing records since 2003. In June 2007, he scored a number 1 on the UK Dance Chart with his track " Lowdown". From 2010 to 2020, he worked with fellow producer Lomax, under the collective name Loadstar. Un-Cut were a British group from Manchester, England, composed of Darren Lewis and Iyiola Babalola from the music production duo Future Cut, and vocalist Jenna Gibbons (Jenna G). Phonograph Record
A phonograph record (also known as a gramophone record, especially in British English), or simply a record, is an analog sound storage medium in the form of a flat disc with an inscribed, modulated spiral groove.
