''More About the Children of Noisy Village'' ( sv, Mer om oss barn i Bullerbyn) is a Swedish film which was released to cinemas in Sweden on 5 September 1987, directed by Lasse Hallström, based on the books about The Six Bullerby Children by Astrid Lindgren. It is a sequel to ''The Children of Noisy Village (film), The Children of Noisy Village'' which premiered the year before. The two filmed were then reworked into a seven-episode television series that was broadcast in 1989. Lasse Hallström
Lars Sven "Lasse" Hallström (; born 2 June 1946) is a Swedish film director. He first became known for directing almost all the music videos by the pop group ABBA, and subsequently became a feature film director. He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Director for ''My Life as a Dog (Mitt liv som hund)'' (1985) and later for ''The Cider House Rules'' (1999). His other celebrated directorial works include ''What's Eating Gilbert Grape'' (1993) and '' Chocolat'' (2000). Early life Hallström was born in Stockholm, Sweden. His father Nils Hallström was a dentist and his mother was the writer Karin Lyberg (1907–2000). Jens Fischer (born 24 August 1946) is a Swedish cinematographer. According to Criterion Cast, Jens Fischer is known as "one of the most distinguished Swedish cinematographers of the 1990s and 2000s." Early life and education Jens Fischer was born in Sweden. His mother Gull Söderblom was the sister of Åke Söderblom, while his father Gunnar Fischer was a film director and photographer who worked closely with Ingmar Bergman. Georg Riedel (jazz Musician)
Georg Riedel (born 8 January 1934) is a Czech-Swedish double bass player and composer. Riedel migrated to Sweden at the age of four and attended school in Stockholm, including the Adolf Fredrik's Music School. The best known recording featuring Riedel is probably Jan Johansson's '' Jazz på svenska'' ("Jazz in Swedish"), a minimalist-jazz compilation of folk songs recorded in 1962–1963, though Riedel has recorded with other leading Swedish musicians including trumpeter Jan Allan and Arne Domnérus. Riedel's profile as a composer derives almost exclusively from writing music for Astrid Lindgren movies, including the main theme from the ''Emil i Lönneberga'' ("Emil of Maple Hills") movies. Waldemar Bergendahl (18 April 1933 – 21 March 2022) was a Swedish film director, film editor, film producer, cinematographer and screenwriter. Bergendahl is best known as the producer behind the films based on novels by Astrid Lindgren. Life and career Bergendahl was born in April 1933 in Årsunda. He grew up on a farm between Årsunda and Hammarby, Gävleborg, Gästrike-Hammarby. His parents were farmers with cows, horses, chickens, pigs and many other animals. Bergendahl later went to University in Gävle. Then he moved to Stockholm. In 1957 Bergendahl lived along with the production manager of Europafilm in an apartment in Stockholm. The production manager told Bergendahl to apply for a job at the film company. One year later, Bergendahl was part of the film crew of ''Miss April (1958 film), Miss April'', a film with Gunnar Björnstrand and Gaby Stenberg in the leading roles.
