''More! More! More!'' is the tenth studio album by the Japanese electronica band Capsule, released on November 19, 2008. The album reached #3 and #6 on the Oricon daily and weekly charts, making it the band's most successful album in their career selling a total of 67,309 copies and being the duo's first album with a Top 10 ranking. The tracks "More More More", "Jumper", "Pleasure Ground", "The Mutations of Life" and "Adventure" feature the group's vocalist, Toshiko Koshijima, while "The Time Is Now" and "Phantom" use stock vocals. "e.d.i.t" uses both Toshiko's and stock vocals. The album was released a week after Nakata's recording with Ami Suzuki, " Supreme Show". "More More More" appears in the arcade version of ''Dance Dance Revolution X2 (''DDR X2'') is a music video game, and a part of the ''Dance Dance Revolution'' series. Capsule (band)
is a Japanese electronica band consisting of producer Yasutaka Nakata and vocalist Toshiko Koshijima. Career Capsule formed in November 1997, after Yasutaka Nakata and Toshiko Koshijima met at the Teens' Music Festival in the Hokuriku area convention when they were both 17 years old. Their first single was "Sakura", released in March 2001 on Yamaha Music Communications. Their first album, ''High Collar Girl'', was significantly different from their later works in that it did not involve nearly as much use of synthesizers or contain futuristic/electronic sounds. Capsule's style in albums up to ''L.D.K. Lounge Designers Killer'' (2005) was frequently referred to as "neo-Shibuya-kei" due to their stylistic similarities, both aesthetically and musically, to acts from the Shibuya-kei movement of the 1990s, most notably Pizzicato Five. (''DDR X2'') is a music video game, and a part of the ''Dance Dance Revolution'' series. The arcade version of ''DDR X2'' was revealed by Konami on November 20, 2009. The sequel to '' Dance Dance Revolution X'', X2 began public beta testing on November 25, 2009. The game was released in Japan and Asia on July 7, 2010, North America on December 31, 2010, and Europe on May 13, 2011. It was the last arcade installment of ''Dance Dance Revolution'' with international releases until ''Dance Dance Revolution A''. Development The first public location test for ''Dance Dance Revolution X2'' was announced by Konami on November 20, 2009, to be held from the 25th to December 3, 2009 in Akihabara, Tokyo. ''Supreme Show'' is the seventh studio album by Japanese recording artist Ami Suzuki. It was released on November 12, 2008 by Avex Trax as her 10th Anniversary album. It was also released ten months after her joint project album, ''Dolce''. ''Supreme Show'' is Suzuki's first album to be fully produced, composed, and arranged by Japanese musician and Capsule member Yasutaka Nakata. Suzuki contributed to the album as the lead vocalist, background vocalist, and co-songwriter for the track "Love Mail". Ami Suzuki
is a Japanese recording artist, DJ, and actress from Zama, Kanagawa, Japan. Having been discovered at the talent TV show ''Asayan'', she was one of the most popular female teen idols in the late 1990s. However, in 2000, Suzuki faced legal problems with her management company resulting in a controversial blacklisting from the entertainment industry. Suzuki attempted to resurrect her career under her own steam with two indie singles before signing to Avex Trax in 2005. Sampling (music)
In sound and music, sampling is the reuse of a portion (or sample) of a sound recording in another recording. Samples may comprise elements such as rhythm, melody, speech, sounds or entire bars of music, and may be layered, equalized, sped up or slowed down, repitched, looped, or otherwise manipulated. They are usually integrated using hardware ( samplers) or software such as digital audio workstations. A process similar to sampling originated in the 1940s with '' musique concrète'', experimental music created by splicing and looping tape. Toshiko Koshijima
is a Japanese singer. Along with composer, record producer and DJ Yasutaka Nakata, she is the lead vocalist of the electronica band Capsule, which she formed in 1997 with Nakata when they were both 17.
