Morck Hotel
Hotel Morck is a historic hotel building in Aberdeen, Washington. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Kurt Cobain stayed at the hotel when he was 17 and his song " Come as You Are" may have been inspired by its motto. It is at Heron Street and South K Street. Plans to redevelop the hotel building were discussed in 2019. It was designed by Abraham H. Albertson and built in 1924. It was listed on the National Register in 2016. Aberdeen () is a city in Grays Harbor County, Washington, United States. The population was 17,013 at the 2020 census. The city is the economic center of Grays Harbor County, bordering the cities of Hoquiam and Cosmopolis. Aberdeen is occasionally referred to as the "Gateway to the Olympic Peninsula". History Aberdeen was named after a local salmon cannery to reflect its Scottish fishing port namesake Aberdeen, and, like Scotland, Aberdeen is situated at the mouth of two rivers - the Chehalis and the Wishkah. Aberdeen was founded by Samuel Benn in 1884 and incorporated on May 12, 1890. Although it became the largest and best-known city in Grays Harbor, Aberdeen lagged behind nearby Hoquiam and Cosmopolis in its early years. When A.J. It is the third track and the second single from the band's second studio album ''Nevermind'', released in March 1992.
