Moravia (canton)
Moravia is the fourteenth canton in the San José province of Costa Rica. The head city of the canton is San Vicente. Toponymy It is named in honour of President Juan Rafael Mora Porras (1814 – 1860). Since there was already a canton called Mora, this one was named Moravia. History Moravia was created on 1 August 1914 by decree 55. Law No. 55 established Villa San Vicente on 1 August 1914. The first session of the Council of Moravia was held on 19 January 1915, and the first electric street lighting was installed in the same year. Law No. 3248 gave the town of San Vicente city status on 6 December 1963. Geography Moravia has an area of km² and a mean elevation of metres. The elongated canton begins in the northern suburbs of the national capital city of San José and continues northeast toward the Cordillera Central (Central Mountain Range). Santo Domingo is a canton in the Heredia province of Costa Rica. The head city of the canton is the homonymous Santo Domingo district. National Primary Route 32, or just Route 32 ( es, Ruta Nacional Primaria 32, or ) is a National Road Route of Costa Rica, located in the San José, Heredia, Limón provinces. It connects the central valley and Greater Metropolitan Area to the Caribbean coast of the country. Description As the main exports road of the country, through the Moín ports, 83% of the products are shipped abroad, equivalent to around 1500 trailer trucks. Escuela Japonesa De San José
is a Japanese international school in San Vicente, Moravia, San José Province, Costa Rica, in the Greater Metropolitan Area. It is affiliated with the Japanese Embassy in Costa Rica ( ja, コスタリカ日本国大使館; es, Embajada del Japón en Costa Rica). It is located in Residencial Los Colegios. In 2003 it had a total of 26 students. Charity School
Charity schools, sometimes called blue coat schools, or simply the Blue School, were significant in the history of education in England. They were built and maintained in various parishes by the voluntary contributions of the inhabitants to teach poor children to read and write, and for other necessary parts of education. They were usually maintained by religious organisations, which provided clothing and education to students freely or at little charge.
