Moose Run is a census-designated place (CDP) in Centre County, Pennsylvania, United States. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census. The CDP is in north-central Centre County, in the south part of Boggs Township. It sits in the valley of Moose Run, a south-flowing tributary of Bald Eagle Creek, part of the watershed of the West Branch Susquehanna River. The Moose Run CDP includes part of the unincorporated community of Central City, and it is less than north of the borough of Milesburg. The Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) is a database of name and locative information about more than two million physical and cultural features throughout the United States and its territories, Antarctica, and the associated states of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, and Palau. Pennsylvania Route 150
Pennsylvania Route 150 (PA 150) is a highway in Central Pennsylvania. Its southern terminus is at PA 26 in Dale Summit, Pennsylvania near State College, at the location of the Nittany Mall. Its northern terminus is at U.S. Route 220 (US 220) in Avis. Since the construction of Interstate 99 (I-99) in the area north of State College, the major use the southernmost portion of PA 150 is to connect traffic from the expressway to downtown State College and Pennsylvania State University (via a section of PA 26). Milesburg is a borough in Centre County, Pennsylvania. It is part of the State College, Pennsylvania Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 1,123 at the 2010 census. History Milesburg, as well as nearby Miles Township, was named after Colonel Samuel Miles, who co-owned the Centre Furnace Iron Works, along with Colonel John Patton and John Dunlop.
