Moorkhan (film)
''Moorkhan'' is a 1980 Indian Malayalam film, directed by Joshiy and produced by Hassan. The film stars Jayan and Seema in the lead roles. The film has musical score by A. T. Ummer.It was a major commercial success. Plot An escaped convict Vinod (Jayan) narrates his story to his rescuers, the forest guard and his daughter Raji(Sumalatha). Vinod dotes on his little sister Rajani. He does not approve of Rajani's outspoken friend Vilasini (Seema). When he learns that Rajani had been murdered by her boy friend who is also Vilasini's brother, he swears vengeance on the entire family. The boy friend is promptly murdered by Vinod. But his fake love for Vilasini soon after awakens the suspicions of the investigating police officer and he is foiled in his murder. He persuades Vilasini into eloping with him. Joshiy
Joshiy (born 18 July 1952) is an Indian film director and producer from Varkala in Kerala who works predominantly in the Malayalam film industry. He made his debut with ''Tiger Salim'' (1978) and has directed over 80 films. He has also directed a few Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films. In the beginning of his career, he received national fame when he directed ''Dharm Aur Qanoon'' (1984) starring Rajesh Khanna and Dharmendra, with Khanna in double roles. Personal life Joshiy is married to Sindhu. The couple have a son, Abhilash, and a daughter, Aishwarya, who died in a car accident in Chennai in July 2011. Abhilash is married to Varsha. Suchitra Murali, commonly known by her stage name Suchitra, is an Indian actress. Shobhana (Roja Ramani)
Shobana Chandrakumar Pillai (born 21 March 1970) is an Indian actress and Bharatanatyam dancer. She acts predominantly in Malayalam films along with Telugu and Tamil films with few Hindi, Kannada and English films. Sathaar (25 May 1948 – 17 September 2019) was an Indian actor who primarily worked in Malayalam films. He made his acting debut with M. Krishnan Nair's ''Bharyaye Avashyamundu'' (1975). He became a hero in 1976 with ''Anaavaranam'', directed by A. Vincent. Even though he started as a leading man, later he became a successful villain as well as a character actor. Prathapachandran (1941–2004) was an Indian actor, who worked predominantly in Malayalam film, Malayalam film industry, though he acted in a few Tamil and Telugu movies as well.
