Moonshine Acoustic
''Moonshine Acoustic'' is the second extended play (EP) by American singer-songwriter and former Issues frontman Tyler Carter. Released on June 26, 2020 on Rise Records, the EP is composed of six acoustic revisions of tracks from Carter's debut studio album, ''Moonshine'' (2019), including one studio cover of "Landslide" by Fleetwood Mac and one previously unreleased original song. Background Following the release of Tyler Carter's debut studio album, ''Moonshine'', on February 1, 2019, the singer embarked on two North American tours in support of its release, each in January and March 2019. Tyler Carter
Derek Tyler Carter (born December 30, 1991) is an American musician, singer, songwriter and record producer from Gainesville, Georgia. He is most notable for being the former vocalist and founding member of American metalcore band Issues. Carter began his musical career performing drums in local bands in Atlanta, Georgia. Following his underground success, he joined metalcore outfit Woe, Is Me, releasing their debut studio album, '' Number ', in 2010, in which he left the following year. After departing from Woe, Is Me, he began amalgamating Issues with former members of Woe, Is Me, including vocalist Michael Bohn. With Issues, they released their debut extended play (EP), ''Black Diamonds'' (2012). The following year, the band released the stand-alone single, "Hooligans". Neo soul (sometimes called progressive soul) is a genre of popular music. It was produced by long time collaborator Lophiile, Medasin, Brandon Paddock, Femdouble, Maui Black, and SmarterChild. The album was recorded in 2018 and was written over the course of three years, between 2016 and 2018. Issues is an American metalcore band based in Atlanta, Georgia, founded in 2012. The band currently consists of guitarist and vocalist AJ Rebollo, bassist and vocalist Skyler Acord, and drummer Josh Manuel. They are known for their combination of metalcore, nu metal, pop and contemporary R&B. Following original member Michael Bohn and Tyler Carter's departure from Woe, Is Me, the duo formed Issues with keyboardist Ben Ferris, bassist Cory Ferris, guitarist AJ Rebollo, and drummer Case Snedecor, subsequently signing to Rise Records. Fleetwood Mac
Fleetwood Mac are a British-American rock band, formed in London in 1967. Fleetwood Mac were founded by guitarist Peter Green, drummer Mick Fleetwood and guitarist Jeremy Spencer, before bassist John McVie joined the line-up for their eponymous debut album. It serves as a follow-up to their second studio album, ''Headspace'' (2016) and was produced by Howard Benson. The album showcases the group's progression of experimenting with other musical styles and influences, using elements of nu metal, progressive metal and djent, and influences of neo-soul, R&B, funk, electronica and pop.
