Richard Egan (July 29, 1921 – July 20, 1987) was an American actor. After beginning his career in 1949, he subsequently won a Golden Globe Award for his performances in the films ''The Glory Brigade'' (1953) and '' The Kid from Left Field'' (1953). He went on to star in many films such as ''Underwater!'' (1955), ''Seven Cities of Gold'' (1955), ''The Revolt of Mamie Stover'' (1956), '' Love Me Tender'' (1956), ''Tension at Table Rock'' (1956), '' A Summer Place'' (1959), '' Esther and the King'' (1960) and ''The 300 Spartans'' (1962). Richard William Bull (June 26, 1924 – February 3, 2014) was an American film, stage and television actor. He was best known for his performances as "Doc" on ''Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea'' and Nels Oleson on ''Little House on the Prairie''. Personal life Bull was born on June 26, 1924 in Zion, Illinois. After years of living in Los Angeles, he moved back to Chicago in 1994 with his wife Barbara Collentine. The couple moved to the Motion Picture & Television Fund House from Chicago in September 2012. Bull fell into acting by accident. “I never gave a serious consideration about becoming an actor. As a senior in high school, I decided to study music, but a friend suggested we attend the Goodman Theater School. Charles Lewis Napier (April 12, 1936 – October 5, 2011) was an American character actor known for playing supporting and occasional leading roles in television and films. He was frequently cast as police officers, soldiers, or authority figures, many of them villainous or corrupt. After leaving his Kentucky hometown to serve in the Army, he graduated from college and worked as a sports coach and art teacher before settling on acting as a career. Napier established himself in character roles and worked steadily for the next 35 years.
